Chapter 2

"(Name)! Its been forever! How is it over there? Is Arthur treating you ok?" As soon as you started the Skype call Alfred blew you up with questions. you've been in London a month and you finally decided to call him.  You laugh at his enthusiasm. "It's amazing over here! And Arthur-" "I'm treating her just fine Alfred." Arthur said coming into your room and walking over to you, kissing your cheek before falling onto your bed. "Wait, Did he just kiss you?" Alfred said, shocked. "Yea" you say looking at the giggling Brit. "I hear you you tea drinking bastard!" You giggle as they starts arguing.

"Come on you two, Calm down." you say to them. "How can i calm down when you're dating that stupid tea drinker! Come on! You know coffee's better than tea!" Alfred yelled. "Well.." you say. thinks it's time to start dinner (Name)." Arthur says. "Yeah. Don't forget we are making spaghetti tonight!" you call as Arthur walk out of the room. "Hey (Name)." "Yes Alfred?" You say turning your attention back to you American friend. "Are, are you happy?" he says, looking down. "Yeah, moving here has been amazing!" I can't wait till you fly over to visit." you say. "That's not what i meant (Nickname). I'm talking about with Arthur." he said, still looking down. "Of course i am, why wouldn't I be?" you say confused. "I just don't want you getting hurt is all." he says then hangs up. "He can change moods so quickly." you say to yourself and put up your computer.

You walk out to the kitchen to see Arthur already boiling water for the noodles. "Good, nothings burnt." you say jokingly. "Ha-Ha very funny (Name)." he says, moving out of the way so you can continue the cooking. You put the noodles in the water and jump when arms wrap around you. Arthur sighs and rest his head in the crook of your neck. "Everything ok Iggy?" you ask concerned for the Brit. "Nothing wrong love. I just get annoyed easily by that bloody wanker." He said, Pulling you closer into the hug. "Don't worry about him, he's not as bad as he seems." you say leaning back into him. "Your telling me. Sorry for worrying you dear." he said as he pulled away to set the table for the both of you.

After you both finish dinner, Arthur picks you up. "H-HEY! PUT ME D-DOWN!" You screech in fright, struggling to get free. "Calm down (Name), i'm not going to drop you." he says carrying you over to the couch. He sets you down before grabbing the remote and sitting next to you, crossing his legs. He turned on the TV and turns to your favorite show, (Name of show). "Oh yea! The new episode airs next!" you say, jumping up and down in excitement. 

Arthur giggles and pulls you closer, kissing the top of your head. "Hey Arthur" you say quietly, looking into his beautiful emerald eyes. "Yes love?" he says to you in his sweet soft voice. You go to speak when lips crash with yours. He pulls you closer and you melt into the kiss. After a minute he pulls away, both of you breaking hard."Sorry love." he says turning red. "It's ok" you say looking away to hide your face. You jump as the shows opening starts. Arthur chuckles but quickly stops from a glare from you.

After the show you get up. " I think i'm going to go to bed." you say, yawning. "Agreed" Arthur says caressing your face. You close your eyes and lean into his hand, feeling the comfort. "Goodnight love." He said as he leaned down to kiss you. You hugged him then said your goodnight, then left for your room. After a while your computer dings. "what the?" you say getting up to check it. "Matthew Williams? Who in the world is that?" you say, confused you open the call.

You're Alfred's friend right?" was the first thing this Matthew guy said.

"Yeah. If I might ask, who are you?" he flinched like you where about to hit him.

"I-I'm his brother." he sounded Canadian.

"Oh..Sorry"

"Did-did you by chance talk to Al earlier?" 

"Yes, why? Is everything ok?" you said, starting to get worried by Matthew's tone. 

"He-He was in a car accident. He took off all upset. When I went after him I couldn't catch up.....Till i saw his car T-Boned at an intersection." These where the last word you heard before you shut down. You heard the door open but didn't move, even when arms wrapped around you. Matthew told Arthur everything. "Oh my! That's horrible!" he said after it was all explained. After that it was quiet except one tiny whisper from you.

"Is he alive...?"
