Doctor Who Are You ?

Chapter 2 The Conversation

After they hung up about 5 minutes later Gloria is greeted by a knock at her front door. "I'll get it" she shouts from her room as she jumps off her bed. Running across her room, past the stairs and to the front door.

Gloria runs to the door and opens it to see her friend Keith. After she motions him inside she shuts the door to the bitter cold outside. They live in England so the weather is never the best but they have grown used to it.

"I can't believe you saw it, again !" Keith shout whispers as they enter her room. Glori sits on her bed as Keith grabs a fold up chair from her built in wardrobe.

"Neither can I. It is an amazing shade of dark blue actually it matches this" Gloria says rumaging about in a box under her bed.

She then pulls out this necklace that has a little sapphire then below it is a stone that looks like glittering stars . "Wow were did you get that ?" Keith asks moving closer to see it.

"I think it was my mother's, I found it in a box in Gran's room" Gloria says sitting back down on her bed, which is about a foot off the ground. You see her mother died when she was quite young so she lives with her grandmother, in a council flat, in the south of England.

"Wow its amazing where is it from" Keith asks her admiring the rock on the chain "I have no idea but I have never seen any thing like it, I don't think its from this planet " Gloria says back, admiring it herself.

"You mean you think it might be alien, your more crazy then Miss Patrick from upstairs and she talks to cats and thinks they reply" he replies stepping back.

"They do" Gloria mumbles crossing her arms. "What did you say ?" Keith asks. "Nothing" Gloria replies stubbornly.

"Come on think about it we have never seen anything like it on this planet and I doubt we ever will, it has to be alien" Gloria shouts back moving forward.

They gaze at the rock as time slips by. Then Keith looks at his watch on his skinny, pale wrist and groans. 6:58.

"Oh man I have to get back home, but meet me at the park tomorrow, around two-ish, deal" Keith says grabbing his coat, from the banister at the bottom of the stairs just outside her room.

"Deal" Gloria says then she positions her hands for their handshake they made up when they were 10. Seeing as it was a few years ago they made it, they have been doing it for such a long time that they could do it without a single fault.

"Well bye see you tomorrow don't forget" he says walking out the door. "I won't don't worry now go" Gloria says shooing him off before shutting the door.

What they don't know is that tomorrow is when it all changes. In more ways then one.
