3rd POV:

"Pass the ball!"
Cera shouted at Zita, they were at it again playing that stupid ball game people call softball. Rain wasn't interested in that, no his attention was drawn to the book open in front of him, the romance novel that got him hooked on love between a human and angel. Taking a bite out of the apple and simply in grossed in the story to notice the ball flying his way. Turning the page the ball hit his head forcing the book to crumble to the floor along with his Apple. "Fuck!" He swore holding his head as snickers we heard, turning to face Zita and Cera laughing at him while the ball rolled into the side of his vision. Cera walked over desperately trying to hold her cow laugh, picking up the ball she smiled to sweetly toward him, "Sorry Rain didn't see you there!" She faked the innocence in her voice, her brown hair fell over her shoulders and her grey eyes pierced Rain's. Sighing he looked away, knowing that showing weakness at this moment would cause them to laugh or tease at him further, his father taught him to keep his emotions in tacked but he hasn't bothered since their passing. Cera mumbled something under her breath before storming over to Zita to continue their game. The bell soon rang ending Rain's free lesson, grabbing his book and kicking his wasted snack away he walked off to his French lesson, putting a reminder in his mind to ask Mr. Naulter to change his free lesson with his Math or English lesson just so he could avoid most of his bullies.

Ignatius walked down the hall of his former court house, he gave over his leading position to a trusted old friend of his since he never produced a heir. Not that he was old, a man at the age of 27 should be thriving but he wanted to have a break and to seek out his soulmate through the other clans. Sighing he walked calmly toward the study where he knew Eligius would be waiting to start their meeting. Don't be fooled though looking the age of a person in their late twenties had advantages but being stuck at this age for nearly thousands of years takes a toll. Raven pranced up next to him, screeching to get his attention to show him that he was also here, Raven was a beautiful mythical creature white in in colour with blues blending in, almost like a griffin but defiantly different Especially in built and size. Being small as a wolf and slender as a cat had the upper hand at times. He use to be Ignatius pet but was passed down to Eligius when he took over as King, Raven was a royal pet to all the kings of the past dark clan. Opening the door to the study, the smell of old books and warmth filled his nose, Raven tripped over to his cushion bed that laid next to the big oak desk that sat in front of a large window, sitting in the seat was Eligius who smiled when he saw his friend. Papers and notes filled the desk along with a dark red drink in a wine glass, blood wine (very rich delicacy in the court) "Sit old friend" Eligius offered a leather seat in front of his desk. "Lord shall I-" a voice rung out and Ignatius snapped his head to Talon one of Eligius serpents, his black short hair rested on his head in a feathered-just got of bed- style and his grey wings rested on his back slightly folded as he faced Eligius. He raced his hand shooing Talon away.
Ignatius sat in his seat wondering why his friend wanted a meeting with him, Talon left quickly not saying anything further as he closed the door
