The Funeral

Everyone was so shocked at what had happened to Jaye and his father and couldn't believe one of their best friends was dead. Everyone was sitting at Jay's house the next morning socializing about the good old times and how dearly Jaye and his father were going to be missed. We were all looking through a photo album that had pictures of his whole family. "Jaye looked so cute when he was a baby," Tashe said smiling. "Yeah," he did Maranda said taking a better look at the picture. "Hey take a look at this Yonte" said showing us some pictures that he took of us playing the Stay Alive the night of Derrick's birhtday party. We all looked so happy together. He keep flipping threw pictures until finally he stopped on a picture of Jaye playing the video game with Jade . They seemed to be having a goix time playing the gams. They seen the pictures but didn't reconize something funny about it. Before paying attention to it they heared aloud BEEP! BEEP! as the limo driver waited patiently for the teens, to go to the funeral. When they got there were about 200 people there. Their was so much of his family on his dad side and mom side. Plus alot of friends from school. When inside the church the preacher preached for about a hour and thirty minutes then everybody stood up to prey and someone got up to sing Take me to tqhe King. We all looked so happy together. After the service was over everyone went to the dime in area in the back of the church and ate and conversated. Most conversations were about how Jaye was a good kid and his father was a good man. We were all was still tore up inside and out giving one last glace at the casket and we all said our finale good-byes before headinv to the grave sight. Derrick and Maranda went up they cried but, Maranda cried on Derrick a little harder.Tasha and Yon'te didn't show too much pain but it was all over their faces. Last Jade went she has no one. When she got there Jaye's mother came up behind Jade. Suprisingly they cried together hard, and had gott taken away by two Jaye's uncles and one of his coisin's. At the end of the funeral everyone decided to meet up at Jade's house before going home. The rest of the day was boring for everyone plus it was hard to go to sleep. Everyone also had the same dream. Of Jaye dying over again. Derrick woke at 2:48 am. He called everyone and told them ''after we leave Jade's house we're going to my house to play Stay Alive.
