Chapter 8

I heard my alarm go off. Means it's another day in boring ol' senior year.

I got up and rested for a while. Then I wore my destined outfit for today, Friday! I got out my grey long-sleeved shirt and my aztec skirt in brown and white. Then I wore some flats and I was ready to go!

I ran down and ate my omelete and went off to the bus stop. Where I waited for Lexi and got into the bus.

"Hey Lex!" I greeted when I saw her running to the bus stop. "Hello!" She said panting and immidiatedly sat down on the stop chairs. "So, I was able to do my homework this time" I told her. "Good job child, you won't be given a slip today. Good job!" She said and then the bus got here

"Well, he didn't even mention it to me, so I just put the paper on his desk after the seatwork and then he just took it." I told my friends. After that I just spaced out and stared at Scott.

Of all the good-looking people like him, why would he pick me?

This questiom was circling around my mind ever since he prom-posed to me. (Well he -ish did but it was quick).

Ok, snap out of it lady

"I gotta go now!" I said and rushed to return my tray back to the rack. Then I rushed off to my locker to get the stuff for my remaining 3 subjects.

I really didn't want to go, I just felt like I needed to go. I always follow my instincts. They work well sometimes. SOMETIMES.

So I ran strait to my next classroom and just sat there for a while. Since I was bored, I brought out my phone and just scrolled through my facebook. I stared at the clock and saw that I still have 20 minuets 'till the next class. "That quick?"

So I just used my phone until people started to fill up the room

I put my phone away once our teacher entered. And she started class.

She just ran out. Like, ran out. She didn't even finish her food.

"Okay guys, I'm gonna get going to class now" I stood up and left to my locker

"Wait Scott! I have class with you remember? Let's just go together" Lexi called. "Okay." I sat down again. "Well, we can actually leave right now Scott. I was about to return my tray already. C'mon, come with me to the rack" she said and I stood up and walked with her.

I was walking home with my sister, Maxine. She was actually ahead of me but that counts. We arrived home and ate our dinner.

Another day tomorrow. But here's the catch, it's the weekend.
