Today was my first day back to school . Also my basketball game . I don't know how to tell coach about this . I haven't been to any of the practices . I walked into the gym and into my coaches office .
Coach: where have you been for the past 3 days
Me: look I know what your thinking but I have a explanation
Coach: talk
I told her everything . She really didn't believe me . I tried so hard to convince her . But she really wasn't budging . She said that I was gonna have to be benched for the whole game . Man this is bullshit . My mom , dad , and others are supposed to be watching me tonight .
I slipped on my shorts and sat on the bench . I watched the game as they was whooping our ass .
Dad: HEY WHAT THE HELL MAN PUT MY DAUGHTER IN THERE THEY WHOOPING YALL ASS.
PPL: YEAH PUT HER IN THERE
Coach: Tammy your out . Mona get in there . Don't fuck this up .
I jumped up and ran in the game . I was blocking some ugly girl . She was saying sexual things to me . They passed the ball to me and I crossed her up . And ran down the court and dunking it.

It was the 4th quarter and the score was 64 to 63 they was in the lead . We had 20 sec on the clock . This big girl was blocking me . I dribbled the ball and tried to crosse her up but she shoved me really hard and I fell on my knee . I screamed in pain and held my knee . The crowd was silent . Coach rushed to my side but I pushed her off . I got up in pain and limped back on the court . These Bitches ain't finna win now . Ohh hell nah . I got in my position with my hands on my sides and sweat on my face .
Coach: look you knew is probably broken you cannot go back out there .
Me: I'm finishing this damn game . Ref Blow that whistle .
He looked at me like I was crazy but he did so . We started the game back up . And I started blocking that same girl . I signaled one of the girls to pass me the ball . I got the ball In my hands . I pretend I was finna shoot the ball and she jumped up . I ran to a three pointer position and shot the ball . Buzzard Beater . The crowd was screaming but my knee was seriously hurting . I walked into the locker room and sat on the bench . The doctor came back there with me and so was Cashmere
Cashmere: you ok how it feel
Me: it hurts
The doctor did his thing with it and I had to get a cast and crutches bc I had sprung it . The doctor said there was about a 30% chance of it healing in time for the last game . I was really mad at that .
After that we got some Chinese food to try and cheer me up . And we all went home . We was in the dinning room eating . I really wasn't hungry .
Everyone was there to celebrate my winning game . I really wanna go to the play offs . And with this broken knee idk if that's possible . Tears ran down my face as I played
With my food .
Cashmere: Mona what's wrong . * whispering*
I texted her phone instead of telling her . And she cheered me up a little by playing ppl. And she massaged my knee a little . And feed me Ice Cream . But I was still sad. I mean I wasnt actually planning on going to WNBA . I just really wanted to play .I excused myself from the table and went to the hall bathroom . I looked at myself in the mirror . What is going on with me ???

My legs is doing better and I can walk a lot better thanks to my athletic Trainer . She's great . She motivates me and doesn't let me give up . Me And Cashmere are cool I told her I just didn't wanna .... Ya know be in a relationship . She understood bc comes to find out she has a boyfriend but Idc . We're friends though and we talk sometimes . I walk into Walmart and grabbed a bucket then went to the food Section . I Need A Job But for now imma just keep getting allowance . I walked onto the ice cream isle . I was looking for a specific kinda chocolate ice cream . I was so busy looking at the ice cream I didn't realize I bumped into this girl . She was thick and beautiful . My eyes met her and I quickly looked away .
Me: I Am So Sorry . I Wasn't Looking Where I Was Going
Her: it's cool * winking *

I continued to walk on and found what I was looking for . I went to the next isle and was tryna find some Dr. Pepper . This store is confusing as hell I usually be able to find Shit . I spotted the same girl tryna reach the top of the shelf . Short Girls Struggle so much .😂😂 . It's cute tho .
Me: can I assist you with that
Her: yes please
I picked her up by her waist with both hands . Then put her down .
Her: thanks , you could've gotten it for me but I feel like you wanted to see my ass
Me: Ahah Nahhh I wasn't even looking . What's ya name .

Me: Mona Kinedy . So what school you go to .
Dakota: I Actually just graduated .
Me: ohh cool how old are you
Dakota: 18 you ?
Me: ohh 17 but I'm about to turn 18 in a couple of weeks . You welcome to the party if ya want .
Dakota: I'd love to . What's ya number
I gave her my number . Then we finished shopping together ............
