It was a cold, windy day outside, "Knock knock knock," went the door.
Mom answered the door, "Hello, can I help you with anything?" Mom asked the strange man.
He shook Mom's hand, "My name is John Peters, sorry for the bother," replied the strange man.
Mom shook his hand back, "My name is Emily Brown, what do you need?" she asked.
"I was wondering if you would like to buy this house," replied John.
"Can you tell me about the house?" Mom asked.
John looked straight at her, "This is a big house in New York, it is very nice inside, I could show you some pictures if you want," he replied.
Mom took the pictures John handed her, "This house is very nice, but before I decide, I would have to talk to my husband about it."
"Alright, when you make your decision, give me a call," John handed Mom a paper with his phone number.
"Okay, thank you," Mom shut the door.
I got out of bed and went to the living room, "Who was that?" I asked.
"Yeah, Mom, are you thinking about buying a house in New York?" asked Josh as he came out of his room.
"We haven't decided yet," she replied.
