Chapter 6

"Megan, we better get back to my house for dinner," I said.
"Oh, yes! Sorry, Jay, we got to go," Megan replied.
"Nice meeting you Jay," I said, as I started to go out the door.
Jay looked at me, "You too."

Me and Megan went back to my house for dinner.
Josh was holding baby Joy.
"Aw! I thought I met all of your family," Megan ran over to Joy.
I laughed, "This is Joy, my baby sister," I replied. "She's so, so, adorable! Can I hold her?!" Megan really wanted to.
"Mom, can she?" I asked.
"I guess, but be careful with her!" replied Mom.
"Don't worry, I'm extremely," Megan almost tripped before finishing, "careful..."
"Are you okay Megan?" I laughed.
"I'm fine..." Megan blushed. "Now, seriously, BE CAREFUL!" I said.
"Wow, thanks!" she said sarcastically.
"No pressure!" I said.
I got around her just in case.
"Dude!" she shouted. I rolled my eyes. She held Joy and did not drop her.
"Okay, girls, dinners ready!" Mom added, "And Josh..."
Me and Josh took our seats at the table, Megan put Joy in her highchair.
"Ewe!!" screamed Josh.
"Ah!" Megan screamed. "What?!" I screamed.
"Gross, vegetables!" Josh replied.
I gave Josh an annoyed look, "That's all it was?" Josh looked at me and didn't reply.
"Please, continue eating everyone," Mom said.

"So, do you like your home?" Megan asked.
"Yes, I do thank you," Mother replied.
"Hey Sarah?" Megan said.
"Yeah?" I replied. "Where is your Father?" Megan asked.
"Um, Mom where is Dad?" I asked.
"He told me to just go, and he would be here soon," Mother replied, as she started to walk away, she added, "Excuse me, I should call him."
"I hope he's okay," Josh said. "Yeah, me too," I said.
"Ring, ring, ring," went the phone, "Hello?" Dad answered.
"Oh, Tom, are you alright?" Mother asked.
"I am fine, I got caught in traffic, and I am almost there," replied Dad.
"Okay, goodbye, Tom," Mother said.
"Bye honey, Love you," he replied and hung up the phone.

"Where is he? Is he okay?" I asked when Mom came back into the room.
"He's fine, he said he'll be here soon," Mom replied.
"That's great, do you mind if I show Sarah around?" Megan asked.
"Okay, but be careful," replied Mother.
I grabbed my jacket and followed Megan, "Hey," a girl said.
"Hello..." I replied. "Hi," Megan replied.
"Are you new here?" the girl asked. "Yes, my name is Sarah Brown," I replied.
"I'm Alexa May," she replied. "And my name is Megan Murphy, nice to meet you," Megan replied with a smile.
"I can show you around," Alexa said. "Actually, I'm showing her around, but you can join us," Megan replied.
"Oh, sure," replied Alexa.
"I'll be right back, you guys wait here," Megan ran to her house, she came back with her cat.
"This is Mittens," Megan said.
"Cute, but I prefer dogs," Alexa said. "I think he's adorable...he's a he right?" I said.
"Yeah," Megan laughed.

After Megan showed me around, we met another guy, along the way.
"Hey, Alexa!" he said.
"Hey Robert, these are my friends Megan Murphy and Sarah Brown," Alexa replied.
"I'm Robert Shae," he replied.
"You guys can come to my house if you want," I said trying to be friendly.
"Yeah, okay, sure," Alexa replied, Robert just followed after us.
I spotted Dad, "Dad," I said and ran to hug him.
"Hello Sarah!" he hugged me back.
