"Come on Bubs! Let's go! I thought turtles were slow but goddamn you take the cake. PICK UP THE PACE!" Chasity rolled her eyes and picked at her perfectly manicured cuticles.
"You fat, disgusting, ugly turtle. Pick up the speed!" she screamed as she smacked the turtle's back repeatedly. The turtle still did not give in, but kept his wings at the steady pace that he had begun with. She opened her mouth, to give her demand once more, but knew it was a waste of time. Bubs never seemed to listen to her. But right now, she really didn't mind.
This was Chasity's favorite place to be, although she definitely didn't act like it. Away from her miserable life, away from unhappy memories, her abusive father, and just reality itself. Her life events could definitely be held accountable for Chasity's distasteful attitude towards the world. Hmm, seems like all everyone ever needs is a couple of harsh words for them to get the job done, Chasity thought to herself. Maybe her father was right...
No, he could never be right. But if he was never right, why did all of her words and actions lately prove to be just that of his; an extremely perfect imitation. No, of course not. He actually harmed her physically. He was insanely rude to her. He didn't love her. He.. He.. She shook her head of the dreadful thought. In desperate need for a distraction, Chasity took in her surroundings.
The sun had just began to set in Chamber Island. The sky was a beautiful orange-pink and the city was at ease. Too at ease. But in a matter of seconds, her eyes fluttered closed as a sweet, placid sensation washed over her entire body. The soft wind blew her golden blonde her in all direction, but that didn't bother her. Chasity definitely couldn't fool herself. She loved it here. She could wreak havoc here. This was Chasity's favorite place to be.
