Chapter 2

I got to the apartment as fast as I could and slipped through the window. Changing back to human, I put on some comfortable clothes, and turned on the T.V. Then April came running in and said,

"You could never guess what I just saw."

"Hey! I'm trying to watch T.V!"

"I just saw an attempted Foot Clan attack! It's dark, all around and there was already Foot Clan everywhere!"

I gave her the fake I-dont-believe-you look and said,

"Wha-?"

Her eyebrows furrowed and she turned while saying,

"Nevermind."

I smiled at her while she was turned and she walked to her room to do who-knows-what. After watching some T.V, I went right to bed.

~~~~TIME SKIP~~~~

April and I walked into the Channel 6 building and she had a folder in her hand. I walked behind her and we stopped in the middle of a bunch of people.

"Ok, I witnessed an attempted Foot Clan attack last night at the docks."

April says and then a guy spoke up,

"What were you doing in Manhattan? Was there another trampoline convention I didnt know about?"

He says and laughs with all the people around us and I growl at his attempt to make fun of her.

"Shut up, McNaughton. I was doing my job. NOT sitting behind my desk."

Then a black lady, (who was really pretty in my eyes maybe not someone elses but still pretty), maybe in her thirties came up to April and said,

"What did he look like?"

Oops must not have been paying attention for a second, oh well!

"Well....I didnt see him clearly but he was throwing the shipping containers and knocking the men into the river."

I zoned out again and tried not to get distracted by their bickering but then I heard,

"So you want me to put 'NOTHING' on the nightly news?"

"No I'm saying there is a vigilante out there. And their fighting back!"

"Oh, April, I think you discovered Superman!"

The McNaughton dude said and she glared at him.

"Alright kids. Ok I am just going to pretend this conversation never happened. I'm erasing it from my mind, and the rest of us are going to get back to work."

The lady said and turned around leaving April standing there. I looked at the picture she had in her hand and it was the same symbol I saw last night.

Now, I'm in the back of the van while Vern and April spoke back and forth.

"I know that this is a case that really matters."

She said and Vern mumbled something I couldnt hear. Just then people were running down the street away from the subway. I got outta the van and April did as well.

"O'Neil! Hamada! Where are you guys going?!"

"Why are you running?!"

April asks as I slow down and try not to follow her too close. When we get down the stairs I see Foot Soldiers walking down the stairs. I then jump up and hang on the ceiling, while April hides behind a trash can. Then out of nowhere a Foot guy comes and grabs her from behind. I follow them and I see a female walking around. Also the Foot men were putting up, what looked like, bombs.

"We know your out there! If you dont come out, we start executing hostages!"

Then I heard a couple clicks and April was taking pictures. The other female put her gun up and then everything went dark. I fell to the ground, also a train came through, and I saw four figures. They were all fighting off the Foot. I then switched to my lizard and swung my tail at the soldiers. I heard loud cries and I knocked a couple other guys out and the others were tied up. I then saw the four figures climb up through this yellow tube and they disappear. I ran up the same escape route, but kept my distance. I got to the roof and saw four large turtles. Soon I heard a clang sound and I looked over the edge of the building and I saw April. I then changed human and hid behind this metal box.

"Did you see their faces?!"
One turtle says.

"Yeah! Like shadows in the night. Nowhere to be seen."

They all went up into a high fi--I mean high three and one other was standing off to the side but a flash came. I then saw April and I looked back at the turtles,

"What was that?!"

"I think it was a camara flash."

"I think it was a girl."

"Now we've got ta' kill her."

"No.....Raph."

OH NO!!!!
