Hibari pulled me by the wrist heading out of the door. Totally shocked and surprised, I just kept quiet, trying to ignore the fact that my heart was jumping the trampoline excitedly inside my chest.

DUGDUGDUGDUGDUGDUG--

A date?

I looked at him, eyes glinting with hope. His fingers were still locked around my wrist and showed no signs of letting go.

Wait...date? DATE!? Wait, wait, wait, aren't I being too forward! What if he just wanted to go out for a bit because he was bored...wait, this is Hibari Kyoya we're talking about, he doesn't like crowds...unless he was willing to make an exception for me...

I shook my head to will those thoughts away.

He doesn't even like me that way...

He finally let go of my wrist, much to my disappointment and turned to look at me with a serious face.

"Show me around, will you?"

Around?

I scratched my cheek, glancing around and then at him.

Show him around? I'll be happy to but..

"I..."

"What?" He looked at me, annoyed.

"That is....um..." I laughed nervously and turned to stare at the pet shop we just passed.

"Spit it out."

"I rarely go outside so...so...s-"

"So?"

"I'm...I'm not really familiar with the places around here..." I mumbled, not meeting his eyes.

He abruptly stopped.

A long pause came over us as I gulped. I dared to look at him in the eye, and to my surprise, he didn't even look remotely displeased.

"Is that so?"

"Y-Yeah..."

An awkward silence took over despite the noisy crowds nearby. He sighed and muttered something under his breath.

"Herbivore, you are useless..."

I know that...

I laughed sheepishly and he just glared. He then stood there leaning on the wall. All I could do was to keep quiet. I glanced at his face and saw that it was very displeased. I wanted to stay longer with him but the thought of him thinking that I'm annoying made me want to leave.

"I'll be going home now..."
I said, smiling to hide my true feelings. I admit, I was kind of disappointed that the da-day out with Hibari was cut short. CURSE MY LACK OF KNOWLEDGE OF MY HOMETOWN!

I walked away and looked at him over my shoulder.

He's not there anymore.

I smiled bitterly, knowing that he left. I just sighed.

"I wish you'd like me even for just one bit...I like you..."

I whispered to myself. Then-

"Watch it!"
