I remember that night so vividly.. Only because it was the night that changed my life forever. They both made me feel safe... I can still hear the clatter of glasses and the drunken laughs.. The spinning of slot machines...
I still remember the beautiful and sweet smiles. Their laughter.. The voices that echoed threw my head... I promise you I wasn't drunk, I was slightly tipsy, but nothing to make me seem or act like an idiot.
I remember the crisp air on the cold late January night, his warm hand on my arm, hauling me away from the bright flashing lights of the casino, one of the beautiful ones in downtown Las Vegas..
I remember the needle... The thick blue liquid... The bumping of the car and the heartbeat in his chest as he carried me into the darkness. I remember the drowsiness and hungover feeling...
But I distinctly remember the deep forest green eyes of the warrior, and the kind chocolate brown eyes of the teacher. The whispers that would change my life forever..
I remember all of that now, as I hear the crackle of the small fire, the distant chirping of crickets, the soft buzzing of nearby bugs... The soft, deep, sleepy breathing on both my head and the back of my neck, and the warmth from both naked bodies that I was in between.
I listened to the sounds and thought of all these things...
My story doesn't start here of course... But instead it starts six months prior to where I am now. In those six months I learned far more about myself and about the world then I would have ever thought about learning.
This is a story about love, about Hate, about lying at its finest, and above all about how history repeats itself threw corruption and leadership...
This is my story... Maybe one day our story. You will just have to read and found out I guess...
