Matthew finally made it to Mine Street and picked up his knife, it was still open. He closed it. Matthew looked back to see about two or three cars speeding toward him.
Oh crap! Matthew thought. He dashed down Mine Street and was looking for a way to escape these thugs.
Where can I go? Matthew looked to his right to see an alley way. He went into it and was followed by some people on foot. He looked back to get a better look at them, and fell into a three foot hole. The people ran past him because they didn't see him fall into the hole.
