"What? How? No one was following me!" Matthew said.

"They must've known you were coming here." Mickey explained. Matthew looked out the window with Mickey. He was right. There were five men standing in Mickey's front yard, all with assault rifles, pistols, knifes, etc. A man stepped forward. It was Gally, he had gauze wrapped around his chest.

"You better come out in five minutes, hands up with no guns, or else this car gets a new body job." Gally demanded. He jabbed a thumb over his right shoulder. Two men were standing by a grey Sedan, holding a baseball bat, and a crow bar. The car was Mickey's.

"Oh no they don't!" Mickey yelled. He ran past Matthew into the garage. Gun shots rang out between Mickey and another man. One scream, then silence. Matthew knew it was Mickey's. Mickey was only one week away from passing his citizen ship test.

"Raid the house, kill anyone inside." Gally ordered. Matthew stepped away from the window. Three men walked inside with Desert Eagles in hand. Matthew ran into the kitchen. He grabbed a kitchen knife from off the counter. Mickey was making Chicken Pot Roast. He was a great cook. The knife had a black handle with a stainless steel blade. There was always one cabinet left empty. The cabinet was just large enough to fit Matthew inside.

Seconds after getting into the closet, there were three gunshots, then a loud crash. "You two, go check the basement, I'll search up here." Someone ordered. His voice was burly and rough, like he never drank water at all.

Steps got closer and closer into the kitchen. Thrashing of drawers and doors were all around him, then stopped right in front of Matthew's cabinet door. It opened, and out jumped Matthew onto the unsuspecting gun man. He jabbed the knife in his chest as they hit the floor. Matthew scrambled up and ran straight through the living room window.

"FIRE!" Gally screamed. Shots rang out in the street and bullets flew past Matthew's face as he darted across the lawn. Only one bullet grazed Matthew's back leg as he rounded the corner back on to Hyper Road, and ran again.
