Dan's P.O.V.

Phil had been staying here the entire week.
When my parents came home I told them that he was a good friend. So they let him stay over whenever he wanted to. My parents loved him so that was a plus.

It had been months since we Had that first kiss in my bedroom. Nothing else happens further. We didn't even mention it. It was just what best friends for life did.

When we woke up on this Monday morning, we actually had to go to school. The alarm clock shook us both out of our elongated dream state. I shuffled around trying to get out of bed but a pair of arms were holding me tightly down on the bed.

When I looked down, I was met with Phil's lengthy arms wrapped around my waist once again. He always made me feel so safe, protected, wanted. Why can't I just find a way to tell him my feelings?

I slightly nudged at Phil to wake him up, getting a groan in reply. "Phil, Phil come on. We actually have to go to school today." He groaned once more before releasing me from his grip and getting out of the king sized bed.

He skipped somewhat slowly into the bathroom while I got dressed and headed downstairs to make breakfast.

It only took Phil about 15 minutes to shower and get completely ready. He came down while I was eating my food. I smiled and pointed forward. "Yours is in the microwave, Philly." I said giving him a smile while I stuffed my face hole with eggs. Whoever got up first made breakfast for the other. Our routine I guess.

He smiled a bit. "Thanks Daniel." He said and winked at me. My heart started racing when he sat next to me and I felt him nudge closer towards me at the counter, our legs touching. Usually since we've done this for so long, it would seem normal. But idk. Today felt different.

I finished eating and we starting chatting about random topics.

"So Daniel." He said staring at his fork.

"Yes Phillip." I replied.

"Have you given any thought as to what we are? I'm just curious. Because I have a thought in my mind and I would really love it if it were the same as yours in that cute little head of yours." He said smiling.

I decided enough was enough. I would tell him how I feel. But he had to wait just a bit longer. This shall be fun.

"Well yes. I've actually given it a lot of thought. But you'll have to wait." I said standing and heading towards the kitchen.

"Wha!" He said throwing his hands up.

I tried to hold my laughter but sadly let out a small giggle.

"What do you mean I have to wait? Why can't I just know now?"

"Because I need to absolutely make sure I'm right with this thought, okay Philly?" I said grinning a tad bit.

Phill seemed to understand and not question it the rest of the morning. We put away the dishes and headed towards school once more. No one really missed us if we missed a day but that was okay with us. We had each other and that's all that honestly mattered.

Since we had every class together we managed to talk about everything. We would sit in the back of the class and pass notes like in the 3rd grade. Sometimes Phil would laugh and it would draw attention to us in the back of the small classroom. We didn't care much really. We were just having a fun time being together.

Now it was lunch time but I really wasn't feeling hungry. I went and got a table and waited for Phil to come sit with me. This has always been our routine since day one.
