I was guarding Aphmaus house, as usual. Zoey was trying to put Levin to sleep and Aphmau....I'm not too sure where she went.
I chuckled to myself.
I should know but I don't, I have faith that she's ok.
The sun was starting to set and I was beginning to become tired.
"Garroth?"
Her angelic voice asked behind me. I turned to see the sun hitting her raven hair perfectly.
"Ah, hello M'lord, how may I help you?" I asked with a smile. Aphmau grinned back and grabbed my hand.
"Come with me"
I blushed as out fingers intertwined together. Aphmau was now pulling me behind her house. We walked over to some trees and I saw a hammock.
"The sunset looks so beautiful from here. Watch it with me?" She looked over, a faint blush painted on her cheeks in a rose red. I smiled genuinely and nodded.
"It would be my pleasure"
Watching the sunset with the woman I love? Sounds amazing.
Aphmau pulled me to the netted swing and we sat down. I held one arm around her and she leaned closer to me. Her legs were brought up as she layed her head on my shoulder. I had one foot planted on the ground and was slowly swinging us back and forth.
It was silent, not an awkward silence, a comfortable one. A small yawn escaped Aphmau's lips as she cuddled closer to me. Eventually her breathing slowed and I could tell she was fast asleep. I gently stroked her head as I swayed the hammock back and forth.
Praying to Irene this moment would never last.
