The line was very quiet. There was nothing. "Marcel, I spoke shakily. All this was a lie everything.

"Wait," he said quietly, "Come outside please" then he hung up. I grabbed the files and papers and picked them all up. I carried them outside. I saw his car, I walked up to the car, I heard him unlock it and climbed in.

He started driving again. "Marcel, I found the files and papers," my voice dropping to a whisper. "You have police records, and fights, and training. What is this?" I asked.

We made it to an old parking lot. He parked and looked at me taking the papers. He scanned them again.

"Why did you look in this?" He asked almost angry. "I-I knew you were hiding things from me," I said.

"Your not supposed to see those." He said rubbing his temples and clenching his jaw.

"Marcel, you lied," I stared at him. It was true though. This whole 'I'm so sweet and innocent' all an act. "Why would you do that Marc?" I felt my throat getting drier and my eyes filling up.

"I did it because you wouldn't of liked the old me," he muttered. That was it. "Marcel this has nothing to do with me liking you," I yelled.

"You lied and covered up everything! That drunk driving paper happened a week ago! This is the old you this is you! And your not telling me things!"

I stopped screaming. "So were are you going?" I asked wiping a few tears away on the back of my hand.

"I'm going up to look into a fighting match," he said staring at me testing how I would react.

"With-like a school?" I asked almost hopefully.

"It's not school related, Skye" he said slowly. I still didn't get it. "It's fighting like, no people know about it, except for the guy I'm fighting and a few of his friends,"

"Meaning its not legal or safe?" I asked.

He nodded.

"And who is backing you up? What's this about?"

"It's about a lot Skye, and right now I have to go its important that I show up,"

"Bring me,"

"Absolutely not," he stated

"Marcel, please, I will just worry, please,"

He took a deep breath running his hands threw his hair,"Fine, but, when the fights happening you stay in the hotel, it's safer that way,"

I nodded.

Marcel was still hiding things but I knew I was going to find them out whether he liked it or not.
