When my parents and siblings got home I told them about the new girl. They said I could go meet them tomorrow and introduce myself. I ate dinner and decided to go to bed.
I woke up the next morning and looked out the window to find even more snow. Well at least I know they will be home. I got ready and went down stairs and my phone buzzed.
Josh~ Hey can I come over?
Me~ Sure I was just about to go introduce myself to the neighbors. Want to come to?
Josh~ Sure. On my way.
When Josh got here we went over to the neighbors. I knocked on the door and a woman opened.
"May I help you?" She asked
"Oh, we just wanted to introduce ourselves. I am Emma and I live at the house to your right. This is Josh and he lives 2 houses over." I said pointing to our houses.
"Well hello. I am Kim Johnston and I will go get the rest of the family." She said very nicely. She came back with the little boy, the girl the same age as me, and a man.
"This is Jackson, the youngest, Maddy, his older sister, and this is Robert, my husband." She said pointing to all of them. Josh was staring at Maddy while she giggled. I elbowed him and moved his gaze to the rest of the family.
"Nice to meet you!" They all said. I asked what school they are going to go to and Maddy said our school. Which is just great since Josh likes her and I think I like him.
