Part 32

Frank’s POV:

Mikey and I got to Gee’s around the same time with our kids, we’d both gotten calls for a ‘family meeting’ and so everyone was supposed to get their asses to Gee’s.

  “How’s my little niece going?” I asked and hugged Taffy who gave me a quick hug before she was switching into miniature host and chatting to Freddie, Pansy and Percy- so cute!

I gave Gee a hug, “Before you ask, I have no bloody idea what is going on.” He muttered and I sighed before looking to Leda and Emma who both shrugged.

   “Girls are so difficult…” Mikey muttered.

    “Dude, Ray is in on this as well.” I noted and Mikey smiled innocently before walking toward Leda who was holding Joon, he gave her a kiss on the cheek before smiling at Joon.

    “She’s got your eyes,” he noted and Leda smiled at him.

    “Thanks bro, Gee keeps saying the same…” Leda mumbled before we all went a little quiet as he walked over to Emma and gave her a hug. We all looked to one another and tried not to smile ridiculously, I jumped up once with a fist pump before he could see me- finally! It was about time he started being a brother to Emma.

    “All we know is that Wren, Maria, Poppy and Ray now something and are calling a meeting for it.” Leda muttered and sat on the sofa , we nodded slowly.

    “I do think it is something relatively important, but I still have no clue what it is.” Emma sighed and sat next to Leda before all of the kids were sitting together on the floor.

    “I think aunty Maria will be a fatty!” Percy yelled and I tried not to piss myself laughing- he was going to have to learn not to call pregnant women- actually, any women- fat because there would be hell to pay.

    “Maybe…” I mumbled and sat with them.

    “Maybe she has a pet unicorn?” Taffy looked at us all hopefully.

    “Uh… Less likely.” Gerard laughed and Mikey pouted before sitting awkwardly on the floor next to him and hugging his knees, he looked pretty out of place until Freddie sat right next to him and a smile played on his lips.

We chatted about the possibilities for five minutes or so before we heard two cars pull up and everyone went silent.

Gerard’s POV:

As soon as we heard the cars we went silent but I got to my feet just as Poppy and Wren came through the door with big smiles, Ray followed. “Shush whilst Ray talks!” Wren said before anyone could say anything and everyone’s mouths shut tight. No point in fighting Wren.

  Ray looked to everyone for a minute, “Um… The second time we visited Leda in the hospital Maria and I were going to tell you guys but we didn’t so you can’t say-”

  “Where’s Maria?” Frank shoved in and Wren shot him a look that made him shut up instantly.

 “Continue man with the plan.” She mumbled and Poppy walked to where we were sitting and sat next to Mikey and Freddie.

   “Uh… Where was I?... Oh, the night Leda had Joon Maria and I looked at the nursery and we saw one baby that was awake. We talked to the nurse and she told us the baby’s name was Luna… And well… As you can probably guess, after Maria heard the name she fell in love and so did I and…” Ray stopped and smiled a little before Maria walked through the door holding a bundle wrapped in a yellow blanket- almost instantly Maria and Emma were squealing and hurrying to her.

   “We have a baby!” Maria said with a little smile as she got bombarded.

Holy shit sticks. That was epic news! Luna? It was meant to be. Ray looked so happy, as happy as I’d been when Joon was born.

The kids all jumped up and danced around even though they had no idea what was going on, Mikey, Frank and I got up before going and hugging Ray.

Emma’s POV:

Oh my god! Luna was just as cute as Joon! She had big blue eyes and short white looking hair… Uncanny. She was as cute as a button, I could just imagine her and Joon in a few years; Joon with her dark hair and silver looking eyes, Luna with her white hair and blue eyes… They would be just as much trouble as Taffy, Pansy, Percy and Freddie combined.

   “Aunty Maria?” Taffy asked with goo-goo eyes.

We were all sitting now, “Yeah?”

   “How did you have a baby? You never looked as fat as my mommy…” She mumbled and Percy giggled, Pansy punched his arm and he pouted.

   “Er… Me and your uncle Ray adopted Luna, someone else had Luna… For us.” Maria mumbled and looked to Leda for help, Leda just shrugged with a smile.

   “Uncle Ray?” Pansy asked.

   “Uh… Yeah?”

   “Did the big man with lots of hair give you Luna at night time?” Pansy wondered.

Ray held in a laugh, “Uh… Nope. Not quite.”

  “Is the big man with lots of hair your cousin?!” Percy asked and Freddie laughed- they were all evil.

  “No, the big man with lots of hair is called Hagrid guys and uncle Ray had a lot more trouble growing facial hair than he does.” Maria shrugged and Freddie touched his chin before studying Mikey’s chin.

   “Is that bad?”

   “Sometimes…” Maria arched an eyebrow.

   “Daddy! You need a moustache!” Freddie said quickly, it was funny hearing a five year old say moustache but we all stopped when he said ‘daddy’.
