the way they flit around,
nervous.
never able to stay in one singular place.
although, occasionally, staring
into space,
out the window,
at me.
I always grin or chuckle when I realize, causing the face the eyes belong to to turn a deep red, and the eyes to look away, causing me to frown, or even pout.the ones that squeeze shut when sensitive topics are discussed, or when the class bully says something rude.
I've always wondered why they flit away, never wanting to look at anyone.
Was it a product of poor parenting? Did they never socialize as a child? It's quite a bit concerning actually. The shy eyes could be warm, welcoming eyes if they would socialize and had played with the other children when they were young. But I guess some people are just born that way.(a/n : hey bbs lmao it's been a while, here's a new one I guess)
