As Reid and you drove to Chad's house, your phone started ringing. When you pulled it out of your pocket, you looked down, surprised to see it was Aaron. "Hello?" you answered, with a hint of surprise in your tone. "Hi Chloe, is everything going alright with the family?"
You sighed, "Yes, Liz's parents gave us the address to her boyfriend and we are heading there now." He paused, seeming to be occupied with something else, "Okay, you might want to call Garcia and see if she can dig up any information about this boy." "Okay, thank you, Hotch. Bye." He said his goodbye and the line went dead. You were zoned out for a second before Reid's voice got a little louder. "Hey! Chloe!" You startled a bit, "Huh? What?" He chuckled. "What did Hotch say?" "Oh he was just checking how it was going with the families, and suggested we call Garcia to see if she can find out anything about this Chad guy." "Oh great idea." You called Garcia and she went on about finding out things about this boy.
You arrived at Chad's house and made your way up to the door. His mother answered and invited you both in. As you asked her questions, Chad came down the stairs. "Who's this?" He asked his mom. "These are some FBI agents trying to get information about Liz." Chads demeanor immediately turned to despair, and he left the room. His mom turned back you. "He's having a really hard time with everything. But you're welcome to search anything you need if it will help the investigation." "Thank you, ma'am." Reid replied. You both walked up to Chad's room. As you looked around, you noticed a rubber glove in Chad's trash. Calling Reid over, you both decided to bag it and take it to test for DNA. "I don't think he did it, though. Even if this glove is suspicious." Reid says. "I don't think so either." You reply, "His whole mood and body language changed when we brought her up, and it was complete sadness."
Reid pulled into the station and you made your way inside. Hotch was the first to greet you at the door. Looking at you for a little longer than normal, though you couldn't say you would complain. Aaron Hotchner was a very attractive and intelligent man, and the fact that he had saved you in those terrible circumstances so many years ago just added to your attraction. Suddenly, you were pulled from your thoughts. JJ ran up, "We just got an anonymous tip on the phone lines that the killer is associated with Liz's education."
