Pool Party

Louis's POV

'Take a left...' I thought as I veered my steering wheel to the left. I hope I'm following these directions right,I don't want to be late for this party. Then yet,nothing wrong with being fashionably late. If anybody gives me crap about it imma kick their ass! Just kidding,I can barely get my straw through the juice pouch.

The only reason I was going to this is because I need something to get my mind off my sister'a passing...and Eli. He's so adorable! Geesh I sound like such a girl!

Yay! Made it! Hmmm nice place. When I get out of my car I head around to the back where the party's supposed to be. As soon,as I enter the back yard I'm sprayed with freezing.water. "Oh hell naw! Which one if you bitches did that?!" I snap,getting my sass on. They all pointed to...Eli,who immediately dropped the water gun and ran. "Payback!" I hollered as I went after him. "Oh shi-" was all he had time to say before I pushed him into the pool. But,I wasn't done there! I dived in after him. As soon as he came up for air I shoved him back under. "Muhaha! Nobody messes with the sass master!" Finally,I let him back up.

"You almost killed me!"

"Almost."I smirked.

He just laughed and turned to the rest of the group who had been watching us in amusement. "Louis,this is Harry,Emily,Niall,and Elizabeth." He said,pointing to each person as he said their name.

"Hey! I know you!" I squealed at Niall.

"Hey! I know you!" He mimicked.

"Bitch,you mocking me?" Man,I was on a roll today!

"Haha no! You silly goosey!" He teased.

"You two know eachother?" An incredibly deep voice said from the right of me. I turned to see the boy Eli named as Harry. Wow whata cutie. No! No,no,no! I like Eli! And Eli only!

"Uhh yeah kinda. We met at the hospital. Hey! You're the Emily I've heard about!" I said,turning to Emily.

"The one and only!" She laughed.

"Ok! Enough with the introductions! Lets have some fun!" Elizabeth cheered.

The rest of the day was filled with splashing,laughter,and creating memories.

As the sun began to set,we all clambered out of the pool and dried off. I changed into my spare clothes and sat around the bon fire with everyone else. I snuggled closer to Eli and to my surprise he draped his arm around me. Niall brought out his guitar from his car. He began playing a familiar tune and I couldn't help but sing along.

"Honey,why you calling me...so late...?

It's kinda hard to talk right now...

Honey,why you crying is every...thing ok...?

Well,my girl's in the next room...sometimes I wish she was you...

Guess we both never really moved on...

It's really good to hear your voice,saying my name it sound so sweet...coming from the lips of an angel

Hearing those words,it makes me weak..."

My voice drifted away and Niall carried out the rest of the chorus. I was taken aback when I heard his angel-like voice.

"Follow me..." Eli whispered into my hair,sending chills down my spine. I stood up and followed him as told. He led me past the fire and to a patch if grass many feet away from the group.

"What did you do that for? That was my jam! If you needed to tell me something you-" my rant was cut off by Eli's lips smashed against mine. We seem to stay like that forever until we realized that we were human and needed oxygen. It took me a second to process what had just happened.

"Wha-? But-? W-why did y-you do that?" I was so confused yet,so...happy.

"Well...I...I...I'm kinda in love with you." He said,giving a sheepish grin.

"Y-you are?..." Please tell me this is not a dream.

"Yeah..."

"I love you too..." I kissed him again with all my passion. This was the best day if my life.

I'm SO sorry! I started writing this two effing days ago! (Not because it's so 'amazing' that it took two days to write) I kept writing it then I would save it and then it would delete it! I don't know why! I would have to start all over! It sucked! So yeah sorry if it's sucky 😁
