We walked cautiously into the dark damp room, as I heard the padding of my feet on the puddles of water on the floor. I walked in carefully, knife in hand as I felt around grabbing Kirito's hand and continuing walking. I walked for a while before I felt my foot slightly slip away and I grabbed Kirito's hand, pulling my foot back and placed my bare foot on the ground, my foot now freezing. I turned to the side and walked for a second before I knocked my head on something. I grabbed it as I heard scuttering behind me, the kind of scuttering a bug's legs make when they hit the ground. I felt Kirito's hand tense up as I grabbed the thing I bumped my head into. It was a torch or something! I pulled it off of the wall and pulled out the flint and steel I had bought. I quickly lit the torch. every torch in the room began lighting, as I covered my eyes for a second to let them ajust to the sudden bright lights. I turned around quickly to face Kirito's back. I looked around, noticing that three torches in the corner of the room were not lit, and there was not a creature, nor sound other than mine and Kirito's.
As if the gates of Hell had opened, all of the fiery torches lit up super bright, and a huge, skeleton worm thing dropped down from the ceiling. I looked at the thing, petrified, the thing was massive! It had four health bars!!! Each with two hundred HP!!! We can't take that down!! I'm gonna die in like, five seconds! Kirito immediately got in front of me, as the huge thing came charging at us, as Kirito charged back, with blazing speed, I could almost see the flames coming out between his boots and the ground. He pulled his two swords out of the sheaths on his back, as the both simultaneously began to glow. Was that his sword skill? How was he able to get it on both swords? I looked at him and the creature stopped in his tracks and reared up. Kirito jumped up, super high, almost to its head, and began rapidly slashing it with both swords. He dropped back down to the ground and ran to its side, and it fell straight down, with only half a health bar remaining! How did he get it down that low, so quickly!? I ran up to it, still scared to death as I began slashing it with my knife, the beast unconscious on the ground. Kirito was at its side, slashing it in its ribcage, as I continued to slash its head. Its health bar began depleting quickly, and eventually it's last bar of health was completely gone. The beast went into a pixelated shape and it dissipated into rainbow shaped pixels that slowly disappeared and faded away. I leaned over, placing my hands on my knees as I breathed in and out heavily. I forgot what it felt like to be tired after a battle. I was a little used to just pulling a trigger or the string of a bow, but swinging this knife was way tiring, my arm was so tired. I checked my status bar, and my stamina was only seventy five! At level twenty!? How was that possible? I looked up as a large banner appeared and I looked over at Kirito. He slowly walked over and patted my back as the word 'Victory' plastered itself across the banner. A small notification box appeared in front of me. It read: "Congratulations! Here are you're winnings!" I recieved a few items, and even a cool, one handed sword! I looked over at Kirito. He had a blank stare as he looked at the notifications box. I slowly stood up and looked at it. It had the same thing written across it. I looked at the items he received. He had received a ton of money and... The Elucidator! That's the sword I got him! Is this the game it was from?! I looked at him and smiled as he continued to blatantly stare at the small box. He slowly pressed 'accept' and opened his items menu. He slowly selected the Elucidator, and equipt it. He held it up, like you see knight armor in castles doing all the time. He scanned it over, as if to inspect it, to make sure it was perfect. He slowly grabbed the handle and placed the end of the blade against the ground. He grabbed a small black blade out of his inventory, that looked almost completely unbreakable. He raised the blade above his head, and I thought he was insane! He's gonna break his new sword! I held my hand outt to go to stop him, but he quickly brought the blade down on the sword. The small blade shattered into hundreds of peices, his new sword without a scratch on it. I looked at it in complete shock. How could a sword be that strong!?
Kirito slowly smiled as he picks the sword back off of the ground. "Its just as light as I remember..." He smiled as I noticed a small tear begin to run down his cheek. I frowned as I looked at him. "K-Kirito? What's wrong?" I stood.up and hugged him lightly. " Hm?" He replied. "Oh, I'm sorry it's nothing sorry!" He gave me that fake smile he always gives me when he's lying. I let it go, he was clearly really emotional about it, whatever it was. I looked at him and smiled as I hugged him tightly. He hugged me back, placing the sword in the sheath on his back. He slowly pulled away, still smiling. I turned to him and kissed him. He pulled away, smiling as another tear ran down his cheek.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hey everybody, tell me what you think about the series! To soon? Not soon enough? I need feedback! Please!? If you are completely lost, the game they are currently in is literally a second version of SAO, but with some of the features and art styles from GGO. Basically I'm mixing SAO and GGO to make a whole new version of SAO. I might later introduce gun swords as well (swords that can shoot bullets out of a small barrel) of which Sinon will be the first receiver of. If you guys have any suggestions, I'm pretty optimistic. Just trying to keep it logical, and make sure you have at least a little bit of reasoning for why it should be in the story. Anyways, I'm rambling on, thanks for all of you support guys, XD
