There For a Friend

*Ring ring ring!* My alarm goes off. Ugh it's morning already? I hit my phone and check it seeing a text from Hunter, reading "Good morning babe, we are going to a party later" I text back a simple "Sounds good baby boy" and I start to get ready for the dreaded school. I finally get on the bus. Sitting in our regular seats talking and laughing until I get a phone call, I answer it.

PHONE CALL:

"Hello?" "Hey babe" "OH HUNTER!"  He laughs, "Yeah. What time should  I pick you up?" "Leave your house at one, so you can be here by three." "Okay cutie" I giggle, "Okay baby, I got to go we are at school." "I love you! See you soon princess" he says as I hang up.

END OF PHONE CALL

We get inside going to our regular "Hang-out" spot, as Blake walks over, "Hey Emily, can we talk?" "Sure, what's up" I ask as we walk away from our group. "So uhm... I just wanted to say that I really lik- never mind. Can we hang out sometime?" "Yeah, of course!" I say smiling. I turn my head to see Geo talking to Sara, Geo is popular in our school. Sara has the biggest crush on him. I wonder what they are talking about... The bell rings and we all walk to class. I walk into my study block, putting my earbuds in and pressing play my playlist as Purpose by Justin Bieber comes on. This song reminds me of my baby boy.. Finally school ends. I sit outside waiting for Mama Rowland. After a few minutes, I see her car and walk towards it. Hunter opens the door and immediately embraces me. "My beautiful baby girl!" He gushes. I giggle hugging him tight. We release our embrace and I jump in the car. I go to close the door but I see Blake glumly looking at us. "Babe I'll be right back" I say jumping out and closing  the door before any objections are made. I walk over to Blake. "Hey, you okay?" "Me? Huh? Yeah!" he says . I think I might have startled him a little. "You sure? Because we are friends and I'm here for you." I say sincerely. "Yeah, go with your boyfriend" he says with a small smile. "Okay bye Blake!" I say smiling, waving as I say bye. Getting back in the car I hear "What was that all about?" "He's my friend who looked sad." I state looking at my phone texting Sara, "Soooo, you and Geo?" Not long after she replies with "Yas, We are going to a party tonight." OMG at 4?" "Yeah!" "See you there babee" I text back shutting off my phone and snuggling against Hunter, who wraps his arms around me kissing my forehead.
