Next Day. . . . .

Austin's Dream

I opened my eyes to find myself on the same hostpital room that I've been in for the last 70 years,I led my eyes to the beautiful wrinkly sleeping beauty in front of me.

The door to the hostpital room opened to reveal the doctor.

"Mr.Mahone we can't keep her any longer"He said.

"No!She'll wake up sooner.."I said.

"But her heart is weakening we can't wait. . "He sighed.

"No. . .One more week"I pleaded.

"I'm sorry Mr.Mahone but we have to.."He replied going over to Sarah's bed and cutting her life support.

The heart monitor beeped showing that Sarah died...and so did my heart.

I woke up sweating and my heart pounding against my chest like it was about yo burts out.Once I knew it was just a dream my eyes fell on Sarah's sleeping body.

God I miss her brown eyes and her breath taking smile that just lights up the room.

"Hey Sarah..."I said my voice cracking as I cried silently.

"How is she?"Sarah's mom said as she stood beside me.

"She's the same.."I said my voice hoarse.

Silence filled the room as my eyes turned dry.

"It was like this when Sarah's dad died.."She whispered her voice cracking.I stopped crying and faced her.

"Her dad was in a coma for a year.He eventually woke up but after two days he died..Sarah was depressed and she almost comitted suicide so we moved to San Antonio..at first she was mad at me but after a few weeks she started to feel happy and always had this love struck gaze.."She paused to chuckle obviously remembering the memory.

I remember it too I was their neighbor and I always saw Sarah outside her lawn looking depressed.

"She eventually told me about you...Austin you saved Sarah from being depressed you made her happy and now is the time to stay strong for her.."She said lookibg back at me who was now smiling sadly.

"We know its hard for you but..Austin don't forget that we're all here for you.."Serena-Sarah's mom- added.

I went around the bed and hugged her.

"Thank you"I whispered.

"No problem Austin your like a son to me.."She replied.

I pulled away and went over the window that was in the room to watch the view as Serena talked to Sarah in a hushed tone that was hard for me to hear.

My thoughts drifted to my dreams just a few minutes ago I'll admit it scared me.

It should've been me who's in a coma right now not her.Sarah doesn't deserve this she needs to wake up.

She really needs to wake up I just can't take it anymore but I have to stay strong for my fans,my family,my friends,and most importantly Sarah.

Tears burned my eyes but I wouldn't let them fall not when Serena is here.

"Now come on you need to go out. . . ."Serena trailed off.

"No I can't what if she wakes up and I'm not here?"I said my head shaking frantically.

"Austin you've been here for two weeks it won't hurt if you just go outside and meet your fans for just an hour"She sighed."Besides Jayn,Diane,Me and Patricia will be here"She added and just then the 3 girls came inside.

"Alright.."I sighed frustratedly and went out the door.
