Chapter 4- Chosen

Angel POV

We went through a portal to get to North's place. 

"Whoa" was all I could say. There were toys flying around and yetis running around. There was also a huge globe with lights all over.

"That's what I said too" Jack whispered.

"So, why did you need me for?"

"Manny has chosen you to be guardian" North said.

"Wait he talks to you?" I asked.

"Sometimes" Jack answered.

"Over 200 and something years of being alone and he wants me to be a guardian. Why didn't he say anything to me? You know what never mind."

"He did the same thing to me. Don't worry about it." Jack said as he placed a hand on my shoulder.

I just nodded.

"So what do I have to do to become a guardian?" I asked North

"You just have to take oath." He replied.

"Easy enough. Let's do it."

"Book" North yelled and a yeti brought out a huge book.

"Will you Angel Frost vow to watch over the children of the world. To guard them with your life, their hopes, their wishes, their dreams. For they are that we have. All that we are. All that we'll ever be."

"I will"

"Then congrats you are now and forever be a guardian"

After the oath was done I was talking to Jack about random things.

North POV

I watched as Angel and Jack were talking to each other. When I felt someone tap my leg. I looked down to see sandy, he pointed to Angel. I knew what he was saying, we need to know her center.

So I walked over to the two winter spirits.

"Angel can I talk to you?" I asked.

"Sure, be right back Jack" she replied with a smile.

We walked to where my office is. When we got there, I looked over my shoulder to see her looked around the room with curiosity.

"So what did you need to talk to me about?" She asked.

"All the guardians have a center. What is yours?"

"I don't know"she said while looking down.

"Don't worry. We'll find it. What do you do?"

"What do you mean?"

"I mean what do you do as a spirit. What you did for over 200 years."

"Oh, well ever since I was 'reborn' I always took out nightmare that roam in the shadows. With help of my snowy owl and wolves."

"Interesting"

"Do you remember your past life?"

"Yes a little bit at least."

"What do you remember ?"

"I remember that I had an older brother. I remember what we did together. And I remember how he died too. And a little bit of my death." She replied

'How was she able to remember so much? Jack didn't even remember his past till after got his memories.'

"Well that's good that you remember. How about you go see if your room is ready."
