Chapter 5 - Part 1: The Party

I had just finished getting ready and was helping Snow with her frost crown, when someone knocked on my door. When I opened it, there's Jack wearing him usual outfit.

"Hi Jack"

"Hey are you almost ready" he asked.

"Yep just have to help Snow"

"Cool. Hey I was wondering if I could walk you down to the party?"

"Sure that would be great. Thanks!" I said as I hugged him. See I started thinking of Jack as a big brother even though we knew each other for only two weeks.

While I was helping Snow, Jack sat at the window sill.

"....And done!!!" I said.

"Thanks" Snow said.

"No problem."

"Hey you ready?" Jack asked.

"Sure. Come on Snow." I answered.

We had started down the hallway while Snow was perched on my shoulder. As we were close to the double doors I had started to get a little nervous. Snow must of noticed because she had started rubbing her head on my head to comfort me but didn't say anything so Jack hadn't noticed.

When we at the doors that will take us to where the party was going to be held. Jack turned to look at me and seem to look concerned.

"Hey are you ok?"

"Yeah just a little nervous that all"

"Why are you nervous?"

"Well after spending all these years being alone except for Snow and Faolan's pack." I said while rubbing my arm like I do when I'm nervous.

"Well its ok. If it makes you better you can just hang with me until you are ready to socialize with everyone. And I think I have something you might like." He said with a smirk and handed me a a small blue box.

"What is it?"

"Open it" So I did. Inside was a snowflake ring and on the inside of the ring said ' Our bond is everlasting'

"I love it. Thank you." and i hugged him.

"Are you ready"

"As I'll ever be" and with that we opened the doors and walked through.

A/N: The name Faolan does not belong to me. I remembered the name from the series 'Wolves of the Beyond'
