I stared intently at the two yellow flowers sitting in a vase I took from my mum. Who would send me these? I mean it is really sweet. But it's also a bit creepy.
Whoever this person is, I don't think this second time he sent me flowers will be the last.
I push my thoughts away once I realised that I had class in thirty minutes. I wasn't even ready yet.
I jumped into the shower I currently had all to myself. My previous roommate left the university, leaving the room all for myself. Hey, I'm not complaining. My old roommate Isabella was really nice, but it was difficult to live with her, because she would always take people home with her in the middle of the night.
I finished my shower, and proceeded with the rest of my morning routine.
I looked through my clothes inside my closet. It was actually a bit sunny outside for once. I took a blue button up and black pants, and slipped them on along with a pair of black flats.
Here at the University Of Edinburgh, I always wanted to look presentable. I just don't think it makes sense for someone to walk around in their pyjamas in one of the most prestigious colleges here in the UK.
The most laid back outfit I ever wore here, was a black romper and sandals. Then it rained that day, so that didn't end well. I'm convinced that there's still mud stuck around my gold sandals.
I threw my hair up in a neat ponytail, and I grabbed my bag that was hanging off of my desk chair. Then, I set off to class.
Half way through my walk to my classes, Harry joined me.
"Hello Harold." I smiled.
"Hello, love. " he replied with his dimpled smile.
I must admit, I always found him to be attractive. But I figured he would never like a girl like me anyway, so I gave up my hopes. I mean, I'm just an ordinary girl. There's nothing special about me. When I first met him, and up to this day, he reminds me of a god. His messy, but somehow adorably curly hair, his dimples, his cheeky smile whenever I catch him messing with me, or when I make a joke, and even his personality. I sometimes questioned if I had feelings for him or not.
We walked for five minutes until we finally reached our destination; Our Zoology course.
Class was okay. The professor only stopped a few times to ask us questions.
When class was over, both Harry and I had quite some time before our next class, sociology. We sat on a bench outside the room, and we talked.
We talked about how nice the weather was. There was a long pause before I decided to bring up my 'secret admirer' just like yesterday.
"There was another flower in front of my doorstep this morning."
"Oh really? What flower was it this time?" he asked with a small smile playing on his pink lips.
"It was a sunflower. Then there was a note stuck to it. It said 'sunflower: Adoration.' I kept the note and the flower. Even the one from yesterday. . "
"Really? Well then. The person that sent those two flowers must be some bloke that really likes you, Lily. " he commented, the same small smile on his luscious lips.
"I guess. Whoever is doing this must be really sweet as well. I just don't understand, why me though? And I kind of want to know who's doing this."
Harry visibly tensed for a moment before speaking. "Mm. I get your point. So you want that person to introduce them self? And plus. There are many reasons why someone should so this for you. I could make a whole list of you wanted me to."
"I guess so. Thanks a lot Harry, I'm glad really have you around. You keep me sane."
The rest of the time we sat on the bench, there was a comfortable silence, and Harry looked extremely deep in thought. His forehead was wrinkled, his lips were pursed, and he had his hand in front of his mouth.
I wanted to ask what he was thinking about, but I ignored the nagging curiosity in my mind.
