- - - -This morning, I rushed to check for a flower.
Today was a little bit different. Instead of just a single flower, there was a coffee and a delicious looking breakfast next to it. I know I'm not supposed to take food from strangers, but come on, this is a perfectly great breakfast we're talking about here. I don't want to just waste it.
I picked the objects up from the floor and walked back inside my dorm room.
I noticed that there were different notes attached to each object.
On the coffee, there was a neatly typed paper.
A tall soy chai latte. I heard from someone that this is your favourite :)
The note made me smile, and I took a sip. Perfect. It was still pretty hot. The person probably dropped it off not too long ago. Which means I missed him—again. Damn it.
The next note I read was on the plastic Tupperware of food.
I cooked this omelet for you, because you shouldn't go to class without a good breakfast.
I smiled at the thoughtful note, and moved on to the flower.
It was a gorgeous red tulip. I admired it's beauty for a little bit, then I looked for a note that said it's meaning. I forgot what this one meant.
I finally found the note, written in bold black letters. It was tied neatly with a piece of twine on the stem of the flower.
Red Tulip: declaration of love.
- All the love, XxI smiled instantaneously, and I wanted to know the person doing these once again.
As I was closing my door, a paper airplane flew right inside. I immediately went to the hallway to see who did it, but when I got outside, nobody was there.
I picked up the airplane from the floor and discovered that there was something typed in it. I unfolded the plane carefully, not wanting to rip it.
I successfully opened the airplane, and inside was a note that said:
Meet me at the campus café at twelve thirty later today.
- All the love, Xx_ _ _ _
