Heart broken Rhyland

Rylie POV

"Rhyland?"

"Yes Rylie, it's the real me" he chuckled

"No, it's not that. What are you doing here?!?"

"I just came cause I'm suppose to meet up with Penelope soon but... wha-what are you doing here?"

"I'm..meeting up with Ryker"

"YOURE MEETING UP WITH RYKER!?!" He yelled

"Yes and why is this being a problem to you?"

"I don't allow you to meet up with him"

I didnt know if it was just me or that Rhyland was actually just over protective that he's just being jealous. After paying the drink, Rhyland grabbed my hand and pulled me toward the door. I couldn't leave now. Ryker is coming pretty soon and I don't wanna miss this opportunity to actually moving on with my life. No matter how much I dragged my feet and held onto whatever was in my way, he finally had enough and picked me up and tossed me on his shoulder.

"Rhyland! Where are you taking me?!?"

"Somewhere where you can't meet up with him."

"Rhyland let go! I have to meet up with Ryker in 2 minutes and I'm not letting you stop me."

"Oh really, I have you firmly in my grip and no matter how much you thrash or hit me you aren't gonna get out."

I always hated it when he would always do this but at the same time I loved it because I knew I'd be safe. As I really thought about it, I am just caught up in his trap of me staying to love him. I needed to get out of the zone of being in love with my best friend. The only thing it'd do is make me more hurt than I am before. I never knew this would be the day id push him away but we all knew this was the right thing to do. Just like the movies, I bit him so he'd let go.

"OUCH. What the hell Rylie?!?"

"I'm sorry Rhyland but this is the right thing to do."

"What do you mean?"

He grabbed my hand and held it tight. The warmth of his hand gripping to mine felt so secure. I could feel the tears dripping upon my face but I couldn't look up.

"I can't do this anymore."

"Rylie? Please don't go. I need you"

"I'm sorry Rhyland."

"Rylie please?"

"Good bye"

I let go of the warmth and slowly began to walk away. The pain to my heart seemed to hurt more as I started to run away. As I thought I ran enough away, I took one glance back away and all I saw was the worse thing that killed me. The tears that came out of his eyes made me see a heartbroken Rhyland.
