Rylie POV
Since Penelope and Rhyland didn't go with the movie plan didn't mean me and Ryker didn't go. As we got to he movie theater, Ryker parked into the stall. As I reached for the door handle, Ryker stopped me.
"Wait, here."
Before I could even reply he got right out the car and opened my door. As he held out his hand, I grabbed it and blushed like crazy.
"Th-thank you Ryker.You didn't really have to do that."
"Well, I wanted to and you're really cute when you stutter."
"Shut up."
My heart couldn't handle the rush I'm feeling but the way how his hand fitting in mine, made me feel comfortable. I never understood why my heart was beating like crazy when I'm with Ryker. This feels different and I really don't like it but maybe it's telling me that this may be a good thing for something new.
"How about I go get the tickets and you wait here for me?" He asked
"Sure! Just don't die on me"
"That line is really long so I can't promise anything."
After he said that, I couldn't help but to laugh as he walked away into the line. As I stood here, I never realized that everything seemed to disappear from my mind in a second.
"Rylie are you okay?"
"Uhh, yeah. I just blanked out just a bit."
"What'd you think about?"
"Just life."
"What is life actually?"
"Life is a mystery. It's full of many opportunities and adventure . It can have its ups and downs and may be filled with wonder."
"That's a really good quote."
"I didn't make that quote, I heard it from someone."
"That's deep."
"I know, but we should really start heading to the movie. According to my phone, it starts in 15 minutes."
As we began to leave, he held out his hand and I took it, him leading the way for us inside to our seats. Through the movie, I felt as if the world was right as if that nothing existed and that we were in our own world. I always pictured myself that I would be here sitting with Rhyland but now as I look at Ryker everything feels strange but I like it. Why am I having these feelings?
Was this the moment that I finally moved on?
