Chapter 1
( 2 and 1 / 2 years later)
Rachels pov :
It's been 2 and 1 / 2 years since I left Lima . I went to rehab for a couple of months and I would go meetings for my addiction after I joined school. I've gotten better over the years and I'm proud to say I've been clean for 912 days . I know it doesn't seem like a lot but to me it is. After I left for New York my friends and I lost touch. Finn and I dated for 4 months and then we got into a fight and he left for the army and I haven't talked to him since. Anyway I was packing my bag to go to Lima. It's been 2 and 1/2 years since I been back . I'm going back because Mr.Shue is being promoted so Emma aka Mrs.Shuester / Ms.Pilsbury invited us all back to suprise him . I am so nervous about going back not because of seeing Finn and my old friends but because I'm not the same girl I used to be , I'm different in a good way I'm finally where I want to be and I don't want that to change . I was in my room getting ready for the train station when Brody my boyfriend came up behind me wrapped his arms around me and kissed my neck.
"Hi." He said.
"Hey." I said smiling.
I turned around.
"Are you almost ready to go?" He asked me.
"Yeah just finishing up packing I really want you to come with me." I said.
"Babe I wish I could but I'm working this weekend." He said.
"You can't just take off this one time just for me?" I asked him.
"I'll tell you what if I can get everything done by tomorrow morning I will go get on the train and go to Lima ." He told me.
"What are you waiting for then get to work!" I demanded happily.
"What about you?" He asked me.
"I'll get a cab." I said picking up my bags.
"I love you Rachel." He said.
I smiled and kissed him,
"I love you too." I said and left
