Chapter 28
Rachels pov :
Quinn, Santana, and Brittney dropped me off at the rehabilitation center for soldiers where Finn was . I walked in and went to the desk with Finn suitcase.
"Hi I'm looking for Finn Hudson." I told her.
"He's in room 172." She told me and I walked into the room and knocked on the door.
"Rachel. " He said opening the door suprised to see me .
I looked at him and not knowing what to say I dropped his bag and gave him a hug.
"You scared the hell out of me ." I said.
"I know I'm sorry." He told me.
"Don't you ever run away from me again." I said and I kissed his cheek .
(10 minutes later )
I sat on the bed and Finn was next to me . I didn't know what to say and I knew he didn't either. We sat there in silence and then I said ,
"I don't understand, why are you here Finn?" I asked him.
"Rachel when I was in Afghanistan, something happened and a lot of people who I knew died . I saved people but not everyone. " He told me.
"Oh Finn." I said and hugged him ,
"I still need you though I can't do this without you. " I said.
"Rachel I'm a ticking time bomb , what I did too you could be the beginning and I don't want that for you , I don't want that for our child!" He said.
Quinns pov :
I got home after chemo therapy and I felt sick to my stomach,
"Go get some rest okay." Puck said.
Suddenly I ran to the bathroom and started to throw up .
Santana's pov :
Brittney and I were in the car when Brittney looked at me and said ,
"I wanna adopt a baby." She said.
Finns pov :
"What do you mean you don't want this for me or for our child? Finn I love you, I love you and that means something to me , you are my world too! And as for our child I want her to know her dad was a hero, because you are." Rachel told me.
Quinns pov :
"Quinn are you okay?" Puck asked against the door.
"Yeah go watch Beth." I told him puking my guts out.
"Mama?" Beth said outside the door.
Santana's pov :
"Wait what?" I asked her.
"I want to adopt a baby." She told me.
"Wait I thought we were going to just keep trying." I said.
Rachels pov :
"Her?" Finn asked me.
"Yeah we're having a girl." I told him.
He sat there for a moment and then bent down on his knees and looked at me.
Quinns pov :
"Go watch tv honey." I told Beth while still throwing up.
Suddenly the door opened and Beth stood there looking at me.
"Mama, whats wrong?" She asked .
"Nothing just go away!" I yelled furiously at her. She looked at me upset and then quickly ran away.
Santana's pov :
"Santana whats the point of trying if we both know its never going to work?" She asked me.
"The point, the point is that we would have a baby that is 100 percent our genetics. " I said.
"So your wouldn't love this baby if it wasn't ours?" She asked me .
Finns pov :
"Baby look at me. " I said. Rachel looked at me and I said, "I need to get better not just for myself but for you and our baby, I want to be the best version of myself because I want to be the best dad and husband in the world . " I told her.
She nodded and said,
"Okay but I need you to know something. " She said.
Quinns pov :
I sat on the bathroom floor crying because of how miserable I am. When suddenly Noah came in and sat down next to me and hugged me tightly.
Santana's pov :
I sat there and shook my head no,
"Santana look at me." Brittney said. I looked at her and she took my hand, "We will be parents , I know we will , and whether we adopt or use a surrogate or one of us gets pregnant, we will be amazing parents and we will love this child whether its our blood or not." She told me.
Rachels Pov :
"Know matter what happens , I will always love you and I always be..."
Quinns pov :
"Here for you. " He said and kissed myforehead.
