Colson

We had been on tour for three and a half months now and everything seemed to be going great. I could feel Leah and I growing closer. I'm not gonna lie. I wanted more than just a friendship with her. It was just something about her. She was so perfect. I decided to grow some balls and walk down to her hotel room. Ash had left over an hour ago so I knew we'd have privacy to talk. I knocked on the door and she let me in.

"Hey Colson, what brings you by?"

"Well I was just on my way downstairs and thought I'd drop by. I was kinda wondering if we could talk?" I said rubbing my hand on the back of my neck.

"Um sure. What's this about?" She said taking a seat on the couch. I sat down next to her and took a deep breath. I haven't had a lot of girlfriends and I've always had a hard time expressing my feelings when it came to stuff like this. I really hoped she felt the same way I did. I guess I'll never know if I don't ask.

"I know we're "just" friends and everything but have you ever thought about being something more than that?"

"Like what do you mean?"

"You know like in a relationship."

"Colson Baker are you asking me to be your girlfriend?"

"Yes, I mean. Only if you feel the same way. I mean its ok if you don't. I understand if you need more time or if your just not that interested in me or.." She cut me off placing her lips against mine. We shared a tender kiss that seemed so innocent but kinda of seductive.

"Does that answer your question?" She smiled.

"I guess so." I chuckled

"How about we go get something to eat to I feel like I haven't eaten in days." I responded

"Or maybe we can order in and watch movies?" She questioned

"That sounds good too. Wanna order Chinese?" I said answering her questions with another question.

"Chinese sounds great, can I pick the movie?"

"Go for it."

"Its gonna be something scary so I hope you like horror movies."

"The scarier the better. That just means I get to be closer to you." I laughed.

"Whatever! " she said as she hit me playfully.

Leah

After eating dinner Colson and I fell asleep watching our movie. The next morning I woke up in his arms and Ash and the boys staring down at us. I elbowed Colson in the ribs and he woke up.

"What the fuck! You guys scared the shit outta me." He said as flinched.

"So this is why neither of you answered your the phone last night?" Slim chuckled.

"Well." Ash said

"Well what!?"I asked

"What's going on here?" She asked

"Me and Leah are an item." Colson said

"For real?" Dub asked

"So like officially or?" Ash asked

Colson and I both looked at each other and said in unison."officially! " and then we laughed.

"Well lets not sit around here. We gotta show in a few hours and I'm starving." Colson said jumping out of bed and the boys followed.

Ash and I lagged behind them as they hoped on the elevator which caused them to leave us. So we waited for the next one and then got on.

"So..." Ash said

"So what?" I questioned

"So do you really think its time to start a new relationship?"

"Yeah, why not?"

"Its just after all you've been through. Don't you think you might be rushing it a bit?"

"Seriously Ashleigh! I know what I've been through. I don't need a constant reminder."

"I know but your my best friend and I don't wanna see you get hurt. I know how Kells can be sometimes."

"Listen, I'm going to be ok. I have to start dating again. I can't just sit around feeling sorry for myself because of what Aubrey did to me. I also can't hold it against the next guy. So what if things don't work out between us. Its not going to be the end of the world."

I just hope I don't end up eating my own words.
