Leah

"There are so many people out there. How many people did you guys invite? I'm getting nervous and it's not even my wedding." Ashleigh stated

"I guess around 300. Most of these people know Colson. I only have a handful of people here for me." I replied

"I know today is gonna be kinda hard. I know you wish your mom was here." She said as she fixed my dress.

"It's ok. I know she's watching us from heaven and I know she's proud of me." I stated

After my statement there was a knock on the door. Ashleigh went to open in it and Drake popped his head in.

"I didn't mean to interrupt you but I wanted to stop by before the ceremony." He said

"It's ok, you can come in." I said

"I'll give you guys some privacy." Ash said before walking out the door.

"So... Today's the big day. You look beautiful." He said

"Thanks, I'm kinda nervous." I confessed

"Can I ask you something?" He asked

"What?"

"Do you love him?"

"Of course I love him."

"Do you trust him?"

"Yes."

"Then you shouldn't be nervous. I know Colson loves you. At first I doubted it but I know now just how much you mean to him." He stated

"Is this weird for you? You know, seeing me like this?" I asked

"Yeah, I always thought that I would be your husband and that you would be my wife. But you know what, I was wrong. I didn't treat you like I should've and that's my fault. And because of my actions I lost you and the better man won. As long as your happy I'm happy for you." He stated

I couldn't believe what he was saying. This was not the same Aubrey I knew. I could definitely tell he had changed. He confessed that he started outpatient rehab and started seeing a therapist not long after our last fight. He had become a better person and I was proud of him.

"Sorry to interrupt but we're walking out in 5 minutes!" Ashleigh informed us.

"Well I guess this is it." I said

"I guess so. Congratulations Leah, you deserve nothing but the best." He said before walked out leaving me with my thoughts.

"Ok, it's time." The wedding planner said rushing me out the door.

Colson

Here I was standing at the alter praying that everyone couldn't tell how nervous I was. I watched as the groom's men and bride's   maids made their way down the isle. When Casie entered and performed her flower girl duties I couldn't help but lose my shit. Leah would be walking out any second and I had never been more nervous in my life.

Before I knew it Leah was being escorted down the isle by Ashleigh's brother. She looked beautiful, like an angel. That's the only way I could think to describe her. The closer she got the more I realized that my cheeks were wet. Was I sweating? Nope, I was crying like a little bitch.

Leah approached me and I took her hands into mine. The officiant was talking but i honestly didn't hear a thing he said. I was so captivated by Leah and her beauty. I couldn't get over the fact that in a few short minutes she will be my wife and the mother of my child.

"And now the bride and groom will resight vows that they  have written for each other." The officiant said

Leah was about  to speak and now I'm getting really nervous.

"Colson, I promise to be faithful, supportive, and loyal and to give you my companionship and love throughout all the changes of our life. I vow to bring you happiness, and I will treasure you as my companion. I will celebrate the joys of life with you. I promise to support your dreams, and walk beside you offering courage and strength through all endeavors. From this day forward, I will be proud to be your wife and your best friend." She said as her voice cracked and a tear ran down her cheek.

I took my head and gently wiped the tear from her face. God, why does she have to be so perfect?

"Leah, I promise to give my deepest love and devotion. I humbly open my heart to you as a sanctuary of warmth and peace, where you may come and find a refuge of love and strength. I will love you enough to risk being hurt, trust you when I don't understand, cry with you in heartache, and celebrate life with you in joy. I will receive you as my equal, my wife and my friend." I said

"In the eyes of God, the law, and the state of Ohio, I now declare you Mr. And Mrs. Colson Baker! Colson you may now kiss your bride." The officiant said

I took Leah into my arms and gave her a passionate kiss. All of our guest cheered us on.

The rest of the night went off without a hitch. The night was coming to a close. Leah and I are now married and i couldn't be happier. I watched as she did the dollar dance with some of our guest. I smiled from ear to ear just thinking thats my wife.

"Hey, I'm about  to head out." Drake said drawing my attention to him.

"Thank you for coming." I said dabbing him up.

"Thanks for having me. Congratulations, the better man won." He said

I didn't  know how to respond and now I  won't have to. Leah left the dance floor and walked over to us.

"Hey, you leaving?" Leah asked

"Yeah, I just wanted to thank you guys for inviting me." He said

"Your welcome." She said

"Well, I better get going. Take care." He said giving Leah a hug before walking away from us.

We said our goodbyes to the guest that  were still here and left for the airport.
A few hours later, Leah and I were on Diddy's jet flying to St.Lucia for our honeymoon. Leah said she had always  dreamed of going one day so I let her have her way.

I watched Leah sleep as she lay on my chest. She looked so peaceful. I know it took her a long time to find that peace and it wasn't easy. Leah and I had somewhat of a rocky start but I wouldn't change any of it for anything in the world. For once in my life I felt complete and Leah was the reason why.
