--Zsasz's POV--
I was realized by Harley and went in search of a zombie that I can save. I began walking down the empty hallway, which would have been silent if it wasn't the noise of the alarms. I saw her, Dr. Darwin. I fought against my urge to save her. If I saved her, I would lose the one person who understood me. I silently walked right behind her, inches away, before she suddenly turned around. She fell back and hit her head on the concrete floor.
I picked her up over my shoulders and walked into the closest room. I placed her gently against the wall and examined her features carefully. She had long eye lashes, short black hair and perfect tan skin...cuttable skin...
NO.
I fought against myself. A war in my head. I distracted myself from the battle in my head by focusing on her again. She was skinny, and looked fragile. I touched her cheek softly and kissed it. I saw her smile slightly from the touch and I...felt happy. This was a better feeling than saving people...
I heard some guards and doctors rushing over here.
---Angie's POV---
I woke up, only to fell the cold wall against my back and my head pounding. I stood up, confused at how I got to this room. When my vision cleared up, I saw Zsasz with a guard tied up to an electric chair. My eyes widened in horror and I slowly walked up to Zsasz. He smiled warmly at me, which calmed me down slightly.
''Hello Little Lamb. I see you're awake. Would you like to help me save this zombie?'' he asked with a creepy voice. I backed away slowly, and his expression turned to sad.
''Little Lamb...don't run. I won't hurt you.'' he said
''Why?''
''You're special Dr. Darwin. You understand me...'''
''Please Zsasz. You don't need--'' I was cut off by Batman as he glide kicked Victor, knocking him out cold in the process.
''BATMAN! Please help, I need to get to my office. Please. Is it safe?'' I begged.
He gave me a stern look before sighing. ''All clear Ma'am. Please, just be careful.''
I hugged him before running to find Harvey, I ran into my office to grab my key and saw all the rest of the inmates still sitting in their cells impatiently. I smiled at the sight off Harvey, who was laying in his bed arguing with himself. I opened the cell quietly and sat beside him. He looked at me startled before smiling.
''I knew you wouldn't disappoint Angie. I just hoped you came earlier so we could have escaped without you seeing...all of this.''
''It's alright Harvey. And what do you mean escape?''
''Look...I know we've only known each other for a little less than a year, but you've grown on me princess. I don't want you to get hurt. I'm gonna take you to Gotham...where...you can go back to your boyfriend'' he grumbled the last part.
I giggled. ''Harvey, he isn't my boyfriend. I don't like him. I like someone els--''
''And who might that b--''
''Oh look at the time! We should be going!'' I quickly said to change the topic.
He rolled his eyes at me.
''Do we let everyone else out?''
''Nah. Let them burn with the rest of the asylum.''
''Okay...so what's the plan Harvey?''
''I got some of my men to get a boat. They'll be coming in about 12 minutes. Let's get to the dock now!'' he said while pulling me along.
