Chapter 6
She dashed into the throne room, the teal-colored lightning trailing behind as she ran an inhumane speed. Her feet skidded to a stop as she stood in front of the heartless demon that took a form of a man. Shredder.
"You 'summoned' me?" Eris asked, sarcasm and irritation present in her tone.
"Yes indeed I have" Shredder agreed, standing up from his 'throne' and walking towards her.
He circled around her, his hands behind his back, eying the mutant hybrid intently. Tigerclaw was right, Shredder has suspected something.
"Shall I remind you why I had chosen Eris as your new name? The one you shall embrace with pride?" He asked.
"Why the sudden reminder?" She asked curiously, trying to play it cool.
"Eris is a name of a Greek goddess, believed to be the goddess of chaos and discord. You are named Eris for you will be the master of chaos, responsible for our enemies suffering..." Shredder continued on, suddenly pressing his unsheathed blade to her throat.
She flinched as the cold metal came in contact with her skin. Her muscles tensed and ready to attack, though inwardly nervous that he may have found the truth.
What will she do? How can she save her sisters life this time? Oh if he found out, it'll definitely be her end.
"You are meant to be ruthless, menacing, cruel, heartless, chaotic, not a being whom has given aid to the enemy!" Shredder exclaimed, his bold voice echoing through the depressing walls, "You are weak! You do not show mercy to the enemy!"
The pressure of the metal blades heightened as his eyes burned with anger like a wild fire. He was definitely not pleased.
"There is no honor in fighting a man who had been weakened. The chances of victory is not equal among us. I know well you value honor, so do I" She explained, her excuse rolling of her tongue easily.
"Do I appear as a fool to you?" Shredder asked, drawing blood from her neck.
Those words struck fear into her heart, making her breathing pattern uneven. Her heart beat quickened every second, Dakota, Dakota!
She felt something that was forcing her to move back, for some strange reason it was painful, it felt like her bones were for cable being pulled, it felt like a huge magnet.
She suddenly flew from the air, slamming harshly onto the concrete wall.
"What did you just do to me?" She asked angrily.
"You dare speak to me with such disrespect?" Shredder asked.
The Footbots suddenly bursts through the huge doors, shoving the younger sibling in.
Dakota looked up to Eris with pleading eyes, so much innocence in them. She was frightened.
Shredder stomped his way towards her, making Eris scream with terror and anger, struggling against the magnetic force that was holding her back.
"Get away from her! Get away from my sister you demon!" She exclaimed.
"Pathetic, you dare disobey my orders?Your sister shall pay the price for you have shown mercy to a lowly mutant."
Shredder stood before the trembling teenager, beating her mercilessly.
How can he beat and torture someone so innocent?
"No! Stop! Leave my sister alone! It's me you want!" She pleaded.
He raised her effortlessly into the air, holding her by her hair, making Dakota scream in agony. He slammed her into walls, making her whimper in pain and fright.
She finally fell unconscious.
Tears fell from her unusual eyes, waterfalls falling down her cheeks.
"You...you monster." She muttered, "You call yourself with honor?! Where is the honor of beating a harmless child?!"
She felt the magnetic force turned off, making her fall to her knees, her eyes red and puffy. She let her tears fall.
"You heartless monster...you-you're a demon! No wonder Tang Shen left you! And because of you, she's dead!"
"Silence!"
Her words stung the ninjutsu master, he snapped and inserted the blades into her abdomen.
"Hold back that tongue of yours, I've shown enough mercy towards you, next time you disappoint me. I will end your sisters life." He whispered threateningly into her ear, pulling out the crimson red covered blades.
She gasped, falling to the ground, pressing her hand into her wound. She coughed out blood, scarlet drops rolling down her chin.
"Lucky her, she was able to get away from you" She murmured.
Shredder stopped to his tracks, glancing at the tear-stained assassin, a glimpse of sadness and anger in his eyes.
"Get out of my sight" He harshly whispered.
Eris' arms were wrapped around her brutally beaten sister. She glared at the metal armored master, zooming out of the room.
Her speed quickened, her legs ached by she pushed forward anyways. Nearing the dungeon where she knew she would find help, a dizzy spell hit her.
She stopped running as she slammed to the wall, carrying the weight of her sister did not help, the dizziness literally made her slam into walls.
Her walking pattern was as disorganized as a roller coaster.
She closed her eyes tightly, ignoring the pain, pressing her foot forward, speeding into the dungeon.
She gently placed her sister's unconscious body on the metal table. She leaned onto the metal surface, her sense of hearing and consciousness fading.
Finally she collapsed.
"Eris! Eris!" Tigerclaw yelled in panic as he knelt down to her side.
She grabbed her paws, looking straight to his tiger eyes.
"Save my sister...save Dakota" Using the only energy she had left, she too lost her consciousness.
"ERIS!" a voice roared.
It was definitely too late, the blackness swallowed her into falling limp. The pain, emotionally and physically, was too much.
It was too much.
