First mission

Gotham December 25, 2016

I wandered around Gotham with nothing but $500 dollars mom had. It hurts thinking about it, mom, dead by that "Hero," he's suppose to save us not kill one of us. I looked into a window. I saw a skateboard, I could use that and starve myself or keep going and find Bruce. I saw my reflection, my body was covered in blood, the only thing that wasn't bloody was my light blue eyes.

"Hey," a voice said I turned to see a man in a dark cloak appear. "It's getting cold out, a lot of crimes happen around this season, why not buy a gun."

"I never touch a gun before let alone shoot one." I said hesitantly.

"It's fine I will let you shoot one round and put another round in for free." He handed me the gun, I pointed it at a glass bottle, holding it with both hands. *BANG* the bullet missed the bottle and I fell on my butt.

"It's fine just my aim. How much do you want?"

"$400 for the gun bullets are $25 each." That was so overpriced but I want to feel safe case I can't find Bruce in time.

"Fine." I spent all my money on the gun and bullets, I put the bullets in and cocked the gun back. Then that's when it hit me:

Kill him, get my money back, and have a free gun or sell it for more money. I looked up more serious then ever, the man was still counting the money. I walked up so he won't notice and pointed the gun, he looked to a handgun in his face.

"Hey kid what are you doing?" He panicked.

"Thanking you for the free gun."

"Free gun?" He was puzzled I pulled the trigger. *BANG*

Watchtower, June 2, 2020

I woke up at the sudden bang at the door. I quickly open the door and saw KF in at the door.

"Bart if you knock on that door one more time I will make you the fastest 'Limping' person."

"Morning to you, we have a team meeting and mission in five minutes." He speeded away and headed east. I grabbed my jacket and headed to the room.

8 minutes later

I arrived after getting lost on the way. On the bright side I found the cafeteria, training room, trophy room, and memorial room.

"So we now have team Alpha and Beta on this mission-" Batman was talking to nine heroes and heroines when I walked in. "Gates, you are late, you were going be on Team Beta."

"Great." I said sarcastically.

"So team Alpha is: Aqualad as leader, Red Robin, Beast Boy, Static and and Blue Beetle. Team Alpha will go to the Amazon rain forest to recon mission against an unknown target, you will need to use minimal radio communication, this may not seem dangerous but if we correct about the target, they are dangerous and we will be fight for the future of the world."

"Actually the Scarab can mind link to other people by using some wearable logos." The blue armor kid said. He had little scarab which he gave to Batman and Everyone on his team to
put one on, there was silent after awhile, guess it works.

"That take cares of team Alpha problems. Now team Beta is: Kid Flash as leader, Superboy, Miss Martian, Red Arrow, and Ghost. Team Beta mission is to capture one out of the 5 people that is associated with the unknown targets: Riddler, Captain Cold, Bane, and Terror Twins. They are in Africa in a base camp to have a army filled with cobra venom. Since you have Miss Martian you will have Mind Links to communicate in silence, radio silence if possible. Everyone in both teams except for Superboy, Beast Boy, and Miss Martian has the stealth tech. Team A will use the Sphere motorcycle and Team B will use the Bio-Ship, that is all move out."
