"3 MONTHS THAT'S BULLCRAP!" I yelled at Bruce.

"We know what you did at New York Michael!" He yelled back.

"Did you see me? No you didn't, so why don't you F-"

"Language, Master Gates." Alfred interrupted me. Before I go on anymore, here is what happened, for the past two week after my trip to New York, I had to erase every trace of Ghost being there, but me being the cousin of the self-proclaimed world greatest detective, Bruce must of found out.

"I hacked into satellites and traffic cameras, I saw you and some armored wearing girl fighting!" He explained, "so you are off the job as Ghost and you won't get your money that I give you."

"Not being Ghost is like you not being Batman for three months, I need to be that mercenary. And you are not my guardian!"

"Then I will tell Jason and he will decide your punishment. I was just going to punish you for destroying New York, Jason will punish you for losing, and you lost to a superhero." I tried to say something, but he was right, Jason would kill me for losing.

"Fine! I won't be Ghost for 3 months."

"Good give everything you have to Alfred." I hesitantly gave Alfred my stuff.

"Michael, you can always go to Superboy's bachelor party if you are bored." Damian suggested.

"I would, but I hate Superboy, plus Superman, Kid Flash and Aqualad are going to be there and I don't like them either." Superboy and Miss Martian are getting married, something that was bound to happen eventually.
"You're going." Bruce said.

"What? No I'm not."

"Yes you are, I will call Superman and tell him that you are going. It's starting now."

"Wayne, you may be my cousin, but I will hurt you one day."

"You tried that already and broke an arm." He pushed me out of the manor and closed the door.

"Son of-Bruce! You can't do this!"

"Just did!" That, spoiled rich jackass sassed me, I can't believe the luck I'm having. I started walking to Gotham, swearing under my breath.

"I can't be Ghost, I have to be Ghost. I would be dead if I didn't become that, I am nothing without it...nothing...." My words just echoed in my head, and reminded me of something

Gotham, January 1 2017

"Happy New year, Gates!" Red Hood said as he clinked his glass against mine and laughed. I just sat there looking at the wine he gave me. "What's the matter? drink up!"

"I uh, can't drink this, I'm only 12."

"Drink it, we deserve it."

"We do? We just blew up a warehouse and that's it we didn't get anything out of it." Well he didn't, I still have the map.

"We survived that's something to drink to." He slightly lifted his helmet to drink out his wine. "Besides it a New Year, we can drink if we want to."

".....Got any New Year resolution?"

"Keep being awesome. That's a resolution I know I can keep."

"Oh, that's good...."

"What's on your mind?"

"My New Years resolution is I uh, just....want to know who you are...." I said quickly.

"Too bad." He suddenly said in the most serious voice I heard from him "You won't know who I am because I don't think you earn the right to know."
