I weep over my brothers cooling body. He was the only one whoever cared, whoever loved, whoever believed in me.
I get to my feet and walk out through the gaping hole in the wall, out to the world. I won't cry for Raven, he wouldn't have wanted that. I don't have time.
I watch my first ever sun rise and know it won't be my last, but I wish Raven could share it with me. I no longer care why I have my abilities, why I'm like this. I don't even care who my parents are. I'm not normally one for loose ends, but after what I've been through no one would care!
Like the stories, I walk in to the sunset but this time it's a sunrise and it's not an ending it's a beginning.
