I stood there onstage nervously Infront of everyone, butterflies dancing around my stomach.

I was auditioning for the school talent show infront of the entire school under my boyfriend Brendan's recommendations.

Brendan had already filled in the application before even telling me and had it handed it into our year head Mr. Cronin.

Now scanning the crowed his angelic smile was nowhere to be seen, him and the boys were supposed to have arrived back in Dublin six hours are and brendan was supposed to be here half an hour ago but it was a no show.

"Okay, ally your up next," my music teacher and year head announced.

I decided to surprise brendan and sing cry for help because he loved the song and it made me think of him because he was there for me when my gran passed away a year ago.

The music started playing and the sound of the guitar filled my ears. Hold on a guitar.

I looked around and saw the rest of hometown standing there and Ryan playing his guitar and Brendan smirking, now that's why Ryan was smirking when I told him I was singing cry for help.

Dayl and Cian were goofing around giving me the thumbs up so I started singing.
