Chapter 5

Then, out of nowhere, the unthinkable happens.

Emily comes up to me, kicks me in the shin and then yanks my hair. I scream and I see Amanda running back with some teachers. The teachers see her still holding my hair and she looks at them.

"Uhmmmmm" she says.

"Emily Hernandez," says Mr. Wentsworth. He's my math teacher and is super nice. " you come with me right now. And Ms. Hollander, come with us."

I follow them and end up in a chair in the principle's office. He comes in and asks me some questions.

"Why did she kick you and pull your hair?" He asked.

"Well, she came up to me and I said Hi. She then said that we both know why she was here and I said no I don't and I went to my locker and she and she said you're not leaving. Then I said stop me and I walked to meet up with Amanda. She came out and kicked me in the shin and pulled m hair. So ya that's the truth and the ONLY truth." I say. I kind rambled but whatever.

"Emily is there anything that seemed wrong about that?" he says.

"Uhmmmm...n-no s-sir" she says stuttering. 

"Ok I will have consequences for both of you. Emily you will have two detentions scheduled for this Saturday and the Saturday after. And for Ms. Hollander I will have to think about it." 

Ok that's not bad for me but maybe for Emily because she does cheer so umm...haha I guess.

"Ok,-pause- can I go to my bus now?" I say.

"Oh yes of course I forgot, I told them to wait for you. No more fights ok? Ok, you may be excused." He says.

I start walking and to be honest I would have said the principle's name but I don't even know it. He spends most of his time in his office on his phone or computer and doesn't even bother with us students. 

Anyway, I get on my bus and go sit by Amanda.

"What happened?" she asked.

"Nothing, just that Emily got two detentions and me nothing yet." i say

"Yassssssss" she says. we both laugh. 

"hey your coming over right?" i ask

"Ya....is Seth and Christian?"

"Ya I think so." i finish. I get out my phone and text Seth. 

K: r u coming over with chris?

S: i am....let me ask him...

K: kk

*a few moments later*

S: ya we r both coming.....what time? 

K: pretty much anytime

S: kk

I get off the bus and go inside to change. I eat some food and go see JJ. A few moments later I see Amanda walk in and she goes right to Chianta and pets her. 

I have to talk to my parents about her and that horse.

I say, "You come in and don't even say hi to me??"

"Oh, I'm sorry"

"I was joking Amanda."

"Oh ok" 

Seth and Chris arrive a little later and we tack up the horses and leave. 

*On trail*

I see something up ahead and tell JJ to trot. I get there and I yell to Amanda>

"AMANDA!"
