"Hey, wake up," I heard a voice at my door say. I sat up in my bed and brushed down my hair, I was just waking up but I was still sharp as a sword.
"WHAT DO YOU WANT!?!?" I screamed. I knew that it was my brother Jason, he's the only other person in this apartment, and today he was bringing me to the suburban area to live by myself.
"You need to get up! Today's the day!" He screamed back. I threw the pillow at my door and it pushed the lock down.
"Leave me be!"
"Open this door, or I break this door!" I knew he wasn't joking so I dragged myself out of bed and opened the door, "Now get around, you can't stay here anymore, you know that."
"I know that, I just don't see why I can't wait a day."
"You know why you can't now come on," I threw my hands towards the door, "And you should know, I hear there are a lot of parties in your neighbor hood." I smiled, closed the door, threw on some of my "good" clothes, made my bed, and started packing up.
~~~Later That Day~~~
My brother had dropped my stuff off at the moving place and was letting me take my dog with me or the pet movers. I couldn't take him on my brother's bike but I knew it would only take a day for Midnight (the dog's name) to come to my place. My brother and me got everything to where it needed to be and then my brother gave me a ride to the new house via Harley.
"Hop on," he said throwing me my black helmet with purple flames up the sides.
"Ka," I said putting my helmet on and sliding the back. I've had years of practice riding this bike, if it was mine I'd never change it. We rode down for a while, out of the city to another town, then past that town's city into the county area. My brother took a turn pulling us right up to this tall house. It was a messy shade of white and wooden stairs up the sides and the roof. He stopped the bike and pulled his helmet off so he could at least see where I'd be living. Even if he already knew. I stepped off the bike and pulled off my helmet, just as the van with my stuff pulled up. Me and Jason got everything inside and Jason said that I'd be able to put it away myself.
"Hey can you help me get the bike in your garage?" He asked.
"Why?" I asked. He was about to leave why did he want his bike in my-WAIT!
"Because, I'm-I'm letting you have it!"
"AHHHHHH!" I screamed so loud that he had to throw himself to the ground and cover his ears, "Ops," I walked over and helped him up, "Sorry."
"It's okay, now I've already paid the first two months worth of rent, you need to pay the rest. Okay?"
"You got it dude!" I made this goofy face, that got him laughing, hard. core. style.
"Okay," he looked out to the street, a cab was sitting there, it's always been just me and him since mom and dad left us, but he did this not because he didn't care, but because he did care, "Take care of yourself, you'll be fine."
"I know, thanks Jason."
"No problem... Luna." He'd never call me my real name, now he did, I knew I would be fine. I gave him a hug and started crying a little, this meant something, because I never cry.
"Bye."
"Bye, and take care." I walked him out the cab and smiled as it pulled out, I'd miss him... but I had to do this. I waved to the cab as he stuck his head out of the window and waved back. He even sat on the edge of the window. When the cab finally left my view I turned back towards my house, I was ready, I knew that. I am ready... now.
