Trust Me Now

As I woke up I could see white, small bits of white and some shadowy figures as well, at least four, maybe three. White kept standing out to me, where was I, what was going on.

"Am I dead?" I said as my eyes cleared more. There were people where I was, Aphmau was in a bed next to me, Garroth, Laurence, Dante, and Aaron were in front of the beds.

"Guys Luna's awake," Aaron said. His voice was calm and he didn't move from where he stood, he just looked in my direction.

"Luna, are you okay?" Dante asked.

"I-I don't know, what happened?" I asked.

"A car crashed into your house, we don't what happened past that," Laurence said. I looked over towards Aphmau, she was still fast asleep, I was sorry that I even thought any of that was a good idea.

"What about Midnight, and Jason?"

"Midnight's fine," Aaron said.

"Yeah, Zane said he watch him," Garroth added.

"Jason, he was the closets, is he okay?" Nobody would look at me, only Aaron, "Guys?" Aaron shook his head and said, "Can you guys give us a minute, I need to talk to Luna."

"Sure," they said leaving. Aaron came over to the side of my bed and sat in the chair next to it.

"What's going on?" I asked.

"Luna, Jason is... he's fine, but he went to Japan," Aaron said. I was shocked at this, Jason was just in the crash with us, how did this happen?

"How? Wasn't he in the crash with us?"

"Yes, but something happened, when he pushed you to the side, h-he left once he saw that I was helping you and Aphmau here."

"Did he say anything?"

"Yes, his words weren't what I would be able to know anything about, but maybe you would know them."

"Tell me," I grabbed his hand and squeezed it, "Please, tell me."

"He said, She is strong, no matter what. I believe her and she would believe them, please tell her these words. Under the ground, above the sky, you don't know until you try to see what you hate."

"He said that?" Aaron nodded yes, I just turned and started crying lightly.

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah, I'm fine, I know where he got those words though," I looked towards Aaron again, "They're his words. Ones he's always told me, ones that now I will listen to."

"Okay, that's all I wanted to tell you, just to, let you know, that he's safe."

"Thank you Aaron, r-real-" Aphmau started moving around, I released Aaron's hand and he got the others inside. They kept talking to Aphmau, she was fine and so was I, we were both stable to go back home. I just don't think I'll have a home left to go to.

When Dante was driving back through the city he said nothing, Garroth, Laurence, and Aaron rode back a different way with Aphmau so I went back with Dante. As we were just going down our street he starts a conversation.

"So, you ready to see what we did?" He asked.

"What?"

"Me, Garroth, and Laurence did some work on your house, and so did Brendan."

"Really? Thanks to you and to them." Once we pulled up to my house Dante ran over to my door and opened it slightly.

"May I get the door for you?" He said as he did this.

"NOPE!" I screamed slamming the door shut. He moved aside and I opened the door myself, I know he wanted to make sure I was okay, but I can handle this stuff on my own, I don't need help. I walked over to my house, it was bigger then I thought, now at least. Zane came down the street and Midnight trailed behind him. He was okay (Midnight not Zane), I was glad. As soon as Midnight traveled towards me Zane left, the car with everyone else pulled up and Dante left. He did come back to help me get my bike in the garage, I guess it went over to his place because of the whole crash thing. A ways later Aaron came by, something was on his mind I could tell.

"Hey," he said.

"Hey, thanks again," I said.

"No problem."

"So, how did me and Aph get stuck in that crash, but not you?"

"I don't know."

"Hm, well hey look really, let me take you to dinner or something... ya know for helping me and Ap- MIDNIGHT NO!" Midnight ran out the door and I ran after her. She ran into the street just as a car was coming down the road. I looked in my arms I had Midnight there but I couldn't move. In a single motion I was pulled away from the front of the car. When I saw that I was on the sidewalk I looked up, Aaron had pulled me out from the street. He released his arms and looked at me. He walked me back up to my house and Midnight ran to the coach.

"Th-Thanks," I said shaking.

"No problem," he answered back, I was still shaking, "Trust me now?" He pulled off his hood and I could see his face for the first time. He had black hair and black eyes to match.

"Yes," I said as he walked away. I went inside and just watched Once Upon A Time on ABC Family, with Midnight. I trust you now.
