He was furious.

Kylo Ren was absolutely, positively beyond furious.

The base on Magulis-9 was a total loss. The Resistance had gone in, taken the false information that he had had time to plant, and left desolation in its wake. Almost everyone had been killed or injured, their fleet was destroyed - and worse, the untrained stormtroopers that resided at the First Order High Academy were almost completely eradicated. Most of the dead were teenagers and younger men that would have grown into soldiers, and there was no one to blame except for himself and Hux, who was trying to blame Isobel for the attack, saying that she had somehow had a hand in this, that if she had only told them sooner - but his arguments fell through. Isobel had given them what should have been sufficient warning, two hours before it had begun. But Hux had delayed them to gather information, saying that she was distracting them from other, more important things than hearsay...

Its Hux's fault. Ren fumed. Isobel warned us, and probably would have warned us earlier if I had just spoken to the messengers who asked me to meet with her so that she would stop yelling at them. He reminded himself to get her the chess set that she had asked for earlier. If not for her, they would have lost the real information that they needed to keep hidden from the Resistance. the Senator had been informed of his impending arrest, and was currently fleeing to Kessel, feigning family illness. without her help, they would have taken a hit. Now, they had the time to counteract the suit being brought against Senator Ro-Klintor and to save their assets. Kylo thanked the Force that he had the presence of mind to withdraw the senator from Hosnian Prime before asking for Hux's permission to evacuate Maguilis-9. And now, he was off to see Isobel, to get the rest of the information that he wanted out of her... and to thank her for the information that had saved some lives and the finances of the First Order.

But this was not why he was beyond furious.

When he had decided to go see her again, he had reached out to the tenor of her mind, only for her to feel far away. He had glanced at the clock and figured that she was sleeping. He had stalked down to Detention anyway, through the rowdy lower-security cells, to the bowels of the base; the Luxury cells. His temper spiked when he stepped off of the elevator and was met with the warden of the high security sector, who looked very pale indeed.

"L-lord, Lord R-ren!" He sputtered. "I was just about to send for you—"

"Why?" Kylo interrupted darkly. You didn't need to be a Sensitive to know that Kylo was seething; it could be seen throughout his body posture: the clenched fists, leaned over in an order to make the Warden feel small, the grasping at the hilt of his lightsaber. He already knew what had happened, call it intuition. The man bit his lip.

"A-at eleven, it was noted that Prisoner 96's shower had been running for hours. When we entered the room-" Kylo stalked past him, nearly running to Isobel's cell at this point. As soon as he saw it was empty from the outside, he let out a roar that sounded inhuman through his vocal modulator and ignited his lightsaber with a heavy-handed flourish.

"MAKER DAMN HER TO ETERNAL HELL!" He bellowed as he took his frustration out on the control panel across from her cell. Sparks flew everywhere, and the warden felt sweat brew on his brow as he watched the scene, seeing his life flash before his eyes as Kylo withdrew from his display of utter rage.

"...Anything else, Warden?" The aforementioned gulped.

"W-we found a ventilation panel destroyed upstairs. She may have gotten out through-" he was cut off by his body soaring through the air and skidding into the floor a hundred yards away.
