Chapter 1

Jason's pov

"Jason!" Mrs. Hilda shouted. "Yes Mrs. Helda" I smirked. My friends and I like to joke with her name and the fact that her class is hell. "Very funny Mr. Hanger. Can you tell me what inflation means?" she asked. "Ya something something and something smart" I said.

"Well I guess I'll see someone in detention" Mrs. Hilda said. "Mrs. Hilda I think you misunderstood Jason see he said the right answer in another language" Nick said. Nick was one of my best friends. "Well Mr. Phoenix do you care to translate" she said. "Ya depression lost of money" he said. "Close Mr. Phoenix, Mr. Hanger you are excused" she said.

"How did you know that" I whispered. "It's on the chalkboard" he said. Whoops I still don't know how I pass this class. Oh right "Hey Cila" I turned. "Hey J-J-Jason" Cila was the smartest girl in the school. "Do you think you can give me your notes" I asked. "Sure" she handed me the notes as if I had her under a spell. "How did you get her to do that" Nick asked. "I don't know but it works" I said.

*Bell rings*

"No homework tonight" Mrs. Helda said. We all cheered. "Hey Jason" Vanessa came up behind me. "Hey Vanessa" ex girlfriend. She was so power addicted of the whole school at least. "So it's that time" she smiled. "Really what time" I said sarcastically. "For us to get back together" she said.

"Well we aren't this time I'm through with you" I said. "Fine" she shouted. Vanessa turned to Nick. "Hey there cutie" she kissed Nick very passionately. After a few minutes I got sick of it. "Nick!" I yelled. "Not now Jason I'm busy" he barely took a break. I dragged him away.

"Dude that's my ex girlfriend" I shouted. "Ya I know so" he said. "You don't go screwing with my ex" I said. "Well your done with her now it's my turn" Nick is one of those desperately confused boys. Although he has a six pack and good hair he never likes anyone. Yet then again I'm just the same six pack brown hair athletic and popular I guess.

I look over and there's no sign of Vanessa and Nick. That's not good. Another period went by and still no sign. "Attention students there has been a problem with the schools water system so we will be ending school early" the announcer said. Great I can go home and relax.

My phone vibrated. 'Meet under bleacher -Alexandra'. Finally something good. Alexandra is this really hot cheerleader but she's so shy that barely anyone knows her. I ran toward the bleachers and Alexandra was waiting with her long perfect auburn curls and sundress.

"Alexandra?" I asked. She turned with a smile and a sparkle in her blue eyes. "Hey Jason come here" she said. She pointed to the darker side of the bleachers. "What?" I asked. "Vanessa and Nick I saw them during gym" she said.

"Great can we go to the other bleachers?" I asked. "Why that one has rats and...." she stopped when I put my hand on top of hers. We looked into each other's eyes and I started leaning in. Our foreheads nearly touching when I hear clashes. "Jason what is it?" Alexandra asked nervously.

A burst of water blasted from a water fountain a few feet away from us. "Come on we gotta get out of here" I grabbed her hand and pulled her in the direction of Nick and Vanessa. "Jason?!" Nick shouted. "Run!!" I yelled.

I heard another blast coming from the end. I look at the two fountains both bursting with water that was steaming. Alexandra gestured up. "Of course through the bleachers" I said. Nick and I lifted Alexandra and Vanessa up, now we have to get up. I noticed the water filling in. "Nick go faster" he finally got out. The water is a few yards away from me, I jump.
