Chapter 4

Ionia pov

"Jaco sit down" I shouted trying to drive the ship. "I'm practicing my basketball" he said. I turned to look. Jaco was bouncing a hologram of a basketball pretending to shoot hoops. "You should probably call me Jackson since that's my new name down there" he said keeping an eye on the ball.

"Then you have to call me Isabella" as I turned back around a meteor hit us. "Impacted out of control" Violet said. "Vi where are we going?" I panicked and pulled up the control screen. "3 human yards from destination" she said. "Ok so that's not so bad we just have to land" I calmed down.

"Nope Isabella we are have no control over the ship" Jaco said. "Well then hang on to something" I shouted. I switched to landing mode and put the invisibility cloak on the ship. "Bella we are getting a call from Ms. Bloodwill" he shouted. I felt a blast. Maybe it was because we went through the atmosphere or fear but nothing broke me nothing distracted me.

"Bella! Bella!" Jaco yelled. "Jaco, it just started" I don't know what is coming over me but I had no control over it. I was flying the ship in the middle of a field. "Bella!" Jaco pulled the wheel toward a forest. I zoned back in control of myself.

"Thanks Jackson" Oops that came out. "Hey your calling me Jackson" he smiled. "Don't get so excited" I got up to see the damage. "Bella what came over you?" he asked. "I don't know" ouch that's a lot of damage. With the invisible cloak over the ship only we can see it. "Bella, Bloodwill is calling" he shouted. "Why are you calling me Bella" I shout back.

"It's easier to say" he said. "Violet answer to Bloodwill's call" I said. "Answering Bloodwill" Violet said. "Ionia dear how is it going" she said. "Ruff landing meteor hit zoning out you know the usual" I said. "What came over you Ionia you never do that" she said. "I was hoping you would know" I said. I sat in my chair and put my feet up on the panel.

"Does have something to do with your history" she whispered to herself. "What about my history?!" I got upset. Every time someone brings it up it makes my blood boil. "Ionia you aren't ready" she said. "Really because you told me how my parents died when I was 5, I'm 18 now why can't I take it" I shouted.

"Ionia you have to stick to the mission" she said. Ugh I can't believe it. "Ionia what's Jaco doing there I thought you wanted to do this alone" she said. I turned to Jaco. He is shaking his head no as if he doesn't want me to tell her that he snuck on. I was about to tell her when he motioned a tear.

"I decided that I needed someone and Jaco was already there" he smiled. "Well whatever came over your mind I don't know but are you close to the boy?" Bloodwill asked. "Violet said we landed a few human yards away" I looked outside the dark window and saw lights from a house.

"Do us proud Ionia" Bloodwill signed off. "Come on Jaco we gotta go see the boy" I said. "Why and call me Jackson I told you that" he said. "Why? So we can see what he looks like Jackson" you know I think I will call him Jackson because it sounds like jackass.

We reached the house and I saw the boy in his room. Wow I've never seen a human this close before. He doesn't fit the description in the history books. "Ionia are you sure he's a human, he looks like some of the other guys at home" Jackson said. I looked around his room. JASON. It said on the wall.

"We should probably go" I started to turn but not move my eyes off him. "Your right come on" he jumped down. I took one last good look then jumped. We walked back to the ship in silence. I'm pretty sure we were both thinking of him just in different ways.
