9. The glowing lake.

(Misa's pov)
I wake up and I'm laying on a demon and I can tell its one of Naraku's demons. I tap on it and it looks at me. "Please let me go" I ask it but it tells me "If I don't do what Naraku tells me then he will absorb me." Yeah I can understand all demons even if they don't speak words. "Please, once I get my powers back I'll set you free. Please Naraku is only going to rape me while I'm in this state" I tell it. It look from me then it moves a certain way and I'm knocked off its back and I fall. I fall into a river then I swim to the edge then run and hide. I need to find my sword.
(Sango's pov)
Miroku and I see Misa fall from the demon as if she was knocked off. I tel Kirara to fly down so we can get her. As we land I jump off her and run into the forest to find Misa. I can see Kagura flying above looking for her. Miroku follows me holding Kirara. Inuyasha, Kagome, Shippo, and Koga run up.
(Kagome's pov)
I jump of Inuyasha's back and run near Sango. "Where is she?" I ask. She looks at me "not sure. We saw her fall then run into the forest then we lost her. I hear Koga growling and I see Inuyasha sniffing around on the ground. I look around and I see a glow coming from a distance. "Hey guys there is a glowing up ahead" I say. They look up and Inuyasha says "Is it a jewel shard?" I shake my head. "I can't explain it but it's like it's a powerful feel coming from up ahead." I tell them then I start walking to where I am seeing the glow. They follow behind me. Soon we come to a clearing and there is a huge lake in front of us and its glowing. My mouth drops open and I see Misa passed out by the lake. We all run over to her and Koga picks her up. I look up and gasp cause there is a huge temple behind the lake.
(Koga's pov)
I look at Kagome who looks like she just saw the craziest thing ever. "What's that huge place and where are we even?" she asks. I see the mutt shrug. Of coarse he doesn't know what this place is. No half demon knows about this place and no demon who's heart is filled with evil can get in. This place is protected by a powerful barrier that was set up many many years ago. So I'm about to speak up when I hear Misa's voice speak up and she says "We are near the sacred lake. It has generations of sacred power in it from every demon priestess that ever lived. Behind it is the temple of the demon. It's been run by my family for generations and now it's run by me. Also at the bottom of this lake is a sword that was forged especially for the demon priestess. It's my sacred sword." I look down a her and she looks so weak. "So that's the power I feel." Kagome says, "but how are we going to get it? None of us can swim down that far." She's right, none of us can swim down that far. The only one who can is Misa and that's only when she transforms herself into a demon that can breath under water and she can't do that for a few more days. "We will just have to wait here for a while until Misa gets her powers back cause if we go outside the barrier while Misa is weak then Naraku will just try to capture her again." The monk says and he's right. I won't risk that again. So we all walk up to the temple and go inside. I set her down and she smiles at me "thank you Koga." I hug her then ask "So how did you get away anyway?" "Well the demon helped me out." She tells me. "How it's one of Naraku's demons." I say. "Any demon will help me out when I really need it regardless who they serve." She explains. Oh yeah I forgot. So days pass and before we know it she has her powers back. Just to be sure that she does she tests them out on the mutt. This should be good.
(Misa's pov)
Days have passed since we got to my temple and I'm pretty sure that my powers are back but I need to test them out so that I'm 100% sure that they are fully back. I walk near Inuyasha and I hold my hand out then I focus on his soul. I raise my hand in the air then swing it down fast and next thing you know he slams to the ground. I hear Koga laughing then he asks "What did you do to him?" I look at him then say ""Well the beads around his neck do the same thing I just did. They grab onto his soul then make it feel heavy and since his soul is still attached to his body it slams him to the ground." Inuyasha get up and yells in my face "Why did you do that! It's just as bad as when Kagome does it." Since he is yelling in my face so I do it again. "Well let's get going I still need to get my sword." I say then walk out of the temple and head down to the lake. Once we get there I go into the water, my body starts to glow once I touch the water cause my body is absorbing some of the sacred power from the lake. I get deep enough to where the water is up to my neck so then I dive under and I turn myself into a serpent and swim down all the way to the bottom. I look around and I spot it so I swim over to it and grab it with my mouth since being in this form I don't have any hands. I swim back up and once I'm on land I turn back into my wolf demon form and put the sword in its sheath that was inside the temple and place the sword at my hip. Now we are off and headed north. I'd like to see Kagura come at me now and try to get me now that I have my sword which allows me to focus some of my sacred attacks into the blade. Once we are outside of the barrier I notice that Kagura is no where around so we head off headed north.
