Chapter 2: He's Actually Sweet
*Charlottes POV*

"Charlotte, are you alright? You sound like something's wrong?" I roll eyes at him.
"Harry, I need to ask you a question..." I start off.
"Go on, ask away." I could hear him smiling.
"Would it be possible of if Riley & I stay with you for the night? We have nowhere to go..." I was nervous. I mean, I was asking someone I just met to stay the night.
"Sure of course you can! But, are you sure there isn't something wrong?" he asked.
Oh you'll see what my problem is when you see me... I thought.
"Can you please just give me the address to where ever you are... Please?"
I heard him sign on the other end "Yeah it's..." He gave me the address, and hotel suite and the conversation ended.
Riley has been fussing non stop. I know she probably is hungry but that was going to have to wait until we get there. This was not very well planned out, but I'm glad I did it.

"I'm here to see someone in suite 52.." I say to the front desk lady.
"Oh sure, third floor, and to the left." she smiled.
"Thank you!" I say as I start to walk away. I have tons of Riley's stuff with me, along with Riley. Thank God the lady didn't ask about what happened to my face. I tried to cover it up as much as I could, but some still stood out. I had my hood up and sunglasses on, even though it was dark outside. Once we were inside the elevator, I took the sunglasses off and put my hood down. I sigh and walk out as the doors open. I turn to the left and walk down the hall, searching for his room. 48,49,50,51,52. Found it. I knock and wait.
"Charlotte." he said.
I look up at him weakly and smile.
"Here, let me get this for you"
He took the baby back off my shoulder and led me inside. I'd been holding tears back the entire time I was driving and they're threatening to over flow as I sit down with Riley in my lap.
"Charlotte, can you please tell me what happened?" he asked.
I couldn't hold it in any longer and I started bawling. My makeup isn't water proof so, the bruises are probably standing out.
His eyes got really big. "What happened?! Who did that to you?" He kept questioning.
He leaves for a minutes and comes back with a wet towel and starts gently wiping my face. His eyes seem to be getting bigger and bigger as he wipes away all the makeup. He can't see the other ones on my body, which I was thankful for.
"Is this why you called me?" He looked straight into my eyes.
I just nodded, trying to contain myself for Riley. "I need to feed her." I say and get a bottle out. "Could you please warm this please?" I asked. He slowly nodded and warmed it for me.
Once Riley was fed and sleeping, Harry took the chance to ask even more questions. Since Riley didn't have her crib, I had to lay her in her car seat, which wasn't all that bad but, it didn't seem comfortable like a crib. Sound asleep in Harry's bedroom, I walked out to see Harry staring at me.
"Please tell me what happened" he pleaded with me.
I stared at him for a few seconds and then nodded before sitting down next to him. I took a deep breath, trying to calm myself before speaking.
"It was Zach, my boyfriend..." I tell him.
He just nodded.
"He, uh, saw the picture of me and you in the c-c-car an thought I was cheating on h-him and he-he-h.." I couldn't finish but Harry knew what I was talking about and hugged me while I sobbed into him. I'm usually never like this. I never cry in front of people, but tonight, I couldn't hold it in any longer.
"Does he know you left?"
I shake my head no.
"It's alright Charlotte. You're safe now" he said soothingly.
After awhile Riley started fussing in the next room. I sighed and walked in a got her.
"So what do you plan on doing? You don't even have all of your stuff." he stated.
"I don't know, but I'm not going back. This wasn't the first time something like this has happened. The only difference this time is that I left. I don't have any clothes. I don't have anyone to stay with. The only thing I have is my rinky dink job at the daycare up the street." I sighed.
"Well, I mean, I could buy you new cloth-" He started but I cut him off.
"You're not buying me any new clothes. I won't let you." I said. I've never been one to just let people buy me things. It makes me feel like I'm not capable of making it on my own.
"But, Charlotte... You can't just stay in the same clothes forever." He stated.
"Ugh, I don't know what I'm going to do Harry. I have nothing." I said getting flustered again.
"Charlotte, please calm down. I'll get you clothes. Okay. The only problem is that we're on tour and, tomorrow, we leave for another state." He trailed off.
***Next day***
I just looked at him. I had nothing to say anymore. We sat in silence, besides the noises from Riley as she entertained herself.
He was staring off into space, seeming to be in deep thought.
"I'll be right back." He said getting up and leaving the hotel suite.
Well, okay. I thought to myself.
"Riley baby. Give Momma a kiss." I said and gave her a kiss. She giggled and looked at me. Her piercing blue eyes just gazing into mine. She has a lot of Zach's qualities. I thought.
"Here comes the tickle bug!" I said and started tickling her. Her giggles and laughs flooding my ears, making me laugh. She's my joy in life.
All of a sudden, the door opened and in came 5 boys and 1 girl, including Harry.
"Charlotte. I'd like you to meet the rest of the band. That's Zayn, Liam, Niall and Louis." He said pointing to each of them. Everyone smiled and waved.
"I'm Charlotte and this is Riley." I said back, smiling.
"And this is one of our managers, Stacy." Harry said. I smiled at her and she shook my hand.
"Hello Miss Charlotte..." she stopped when she didn't know my last name.
"Uh Gomez. Charlotte Gomez." I say unsure of what's going on.
"Miss Gomez, Harry tells me that you have nowhere to go and you obviously have a child. Is that correct?" she asked.
I just nodded.
"Well for some reason, Harry, here, wants you to stay with the crew for awhile. I'm not sure why, but he pretty much begged me."
"Okay..." I said.
"So what do you say? Are you willing to give everything up here and go on tour with One Direction?" she asked.
I was in utter shock. I literally just met this man & he begged one of his managers to let me come on tour with them. I was looking back & forth between Stacy and Harry.
"This isn't like some joke, right?" I asked unsure of this.
"I do not joke, Miss Gomez. It's a bit odd that Harry asked me this. He never is the one to practically beg me for something. And I, usually do not say yes. But I've been working with these boys long enough that I know when something is important to them." She smiled.
I honestly didn't know what to do. I didn't want to say yes, because he was a complete stranger... But I didn't want to say no, because I have no where else to go. I have no family. Nothing.
I looked at Harry. He was smiling and staring at me.
I sigh and looked down at Riley. She was staring at me. Everyone was looking at me.
"I'll go." I finally said after awhile.
"Really?!" all the boys replied.
"Yes, really. I have no where else to go! And besides, who would pass up an opportunity like this?" I giggled
"Great. So we need to get you a passport ASAP because we leave this afternoon for LA. Is that alright?" Stacy asked. I nodded and looked at her, waiting for more instructions.
"We have someone to do your hair and makeup. Also giving you a choice of clothes for the day. We need to make sure you look tip top. Along with your child." she added on.
"Wait, are you serious? I can't even choose my own clothes out? Or Riley's?" I asked shocked at her words.
"Precisely, Miss Gomez. Now, I'm going to make a few calls and then we will be set. Make sure you all are ready by 2:00 PM." Stacy said looking at me and the 5 boys.
We all nodded and with that, she walked out of the room.
"So, Charlotte, would you mind explaining to us what happened to your face?" Louis blurted out.
I just looked up at Harry, hoping he would tell them. I knew that if I told them, I would start bawling.
Harry looked down and gave me that 'I'll tell them' look. I just nodded.
