Katie;
I sit at the table across from annies mom, Haley is next to me, I try my best to keep my cool but I'm panicking. What if she killed annie?
I've basically forgotten about the liv idea, she's always been jealous of annie but she loves her.
These past couple of days I've been trying to think of who it could've been, I've got ideas but nothing for sure.
"Hayley were you in my closet," katie ask "annies chest was open"
I take in a breath, I'm not sure what to do so I kick Haley under the table, our secret signal, one for yes, two for no.
"Yes, I was just looking at old stuff" she says.
"I don't want you in there" katie says and gets up to rinse her plate.
Later when me and hayley are in her room she asks why I needed her to lie.
I tell her I can't explain things now, I'm lucky shes young because she just shrugs her shoulders and moves on.
she starts to mess with some of her dolls.
"How was annie before?" I ask her, her shoulders straighten up and she turns around and walk to her bed.
She sighs as she sits down "wierd" she shrugs her shoulders.
Before I ask her she continues "the last day she barely came out of her room she was so depressed" hayley starts to cry.
Once I calm her down I take it as my cue to leave, I want to tell her but I can't drag her into this.
As I drive home I try to process everything, I chuckle I feel like I'm in a movie.
I open up the small box that holds all the clues I have, annies old dairy and some random things, I start to realize I practically have nothing.
Arden knocks on the door an I run to get it, after an hour of talking I try to bring it up subtly, "why do you think annie killed herself?" I ask her, she tenses up and looks nervous "she was depressed" Arden says.
I sigh, "yeah I guess" I can almost see the answer in her eyes, she knows something and I'm not going to stop till I find out what it is.
